It seems you are getting beat up in the comments but.... I want to commend you for trying for new ground. The characters are interesting and I can have empathy with how they feel about loss of control of there marriage and the struggle they are in to maintain a little bit of control over their futures

I also like how she tries to keep to the plan and leans on her husband's advice even though she is alone. Thank you for your efforts... your writing is solid and your dialogue is better than many. I appreciate the "different " in this story and thank you for it

Sorry, but this story needs an explanation as it is not anywhere near the normal.
