I've always been fascinated by necromancers, from Diablo 2 to Garth Nix's Novels about Sabriel. I originally came for an erotic story and saw the title, I just had to read it. Little did I know I would get sucked into a story that not only kept me reeled in with the perfect balance of interesting story and sex romps, but had a storyline and characters that are worth learning more about. As I read more, I came less keen on my own pleasure and more interested in what happens next. This is one story I would love to see as a future book or movie and it wouldnt even have to have sex in it to keep me interested, just the story alone is doing it for me (though keep the sex in it, i mean who wouldnt want a bound succubi)..

Really sound set-up. Now don't rush it! And don't feel compelled to send Ian through all the motions you can use other characters if you have to have that content. I couldn't quite follow the character development in you other story there.

Though I perfer to keep quiet, this story is one that, through merit alone, has lured me out into the open. This sounds like a chapter written in a novel! This is one that is a shining beacon of quality in this site and in compairison to the rest of the site, yours is one that is an ace. You've done well and your story is most likely, going to be one that will be published in a book, or even made into a movie. You show great tallent in writing and I wouldn't be surprised if one day I find one of your works sitting in a library bookshelf.

Your writing style is truly fantastic, and the whole world you have created is so in depth and detailed. Forget the sex parts, you could add some more descriptions in there (maybe some more talk from Grim about how the world works; how other branches of magic work, or maybe more about the spirit world) and get a book published. Keep writing this series as well as you have started it, with brilliantly fleshed out characters, and you will find a lot of people will continue to enjoy it, including myself. Thank you!

Kind of reminds me of Angels, Demons, and Alex a bit, as well as the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. The pace of the story seems to be spot on and the banter is fantastic. The only problem I see for Ian is that he is going to still be broke from having to replace all the cloths Ember keeps ripping off him, lol.

Sad to see you chose the harem route for the story. Well, actually a harem would be alright if you had introduced male companions/friends as well and female characters that took a liking to them instead of the main character. Otherwise this reads too much like a teenager's wet dream: too many women to handle for one guy and all seem to be falling for him.

This installment feels like an action movie. In a veeeeery good way!

At first i was sceptic because there was little sex. But now i dont even like the sex parts! I love the necromancer story and the characters, and i swallowed ch 1 & 2 in a few hours. 5 stars... APSOLUTELY GREAT! And i hope chapter 3 isnt the last one...

I'm a lousy reader, since books don't often draw me in. But this, despite coming here for obviously different reasons, got me hooked, and forget everything I had plans for.

The level of sex is a bit small, but that's no longer the reason I'm reading this.

The level of power is starting to increase, a bit too much at current, but still interesting.

And as sex is no longer the biggest interest, the need for an all-female side-cast shouldn't really be needed anymore.

Still, despite all that, the story and character development keeps drawing me. This warrants a book, or even a television series, imo.

James Laird bought the rights to the title and continued the story. Despite keyboard gangsterocesss spouting lies, and making defamatory and disgusting comments on this site and others, he will be releasing books 2 very shortly and book three very much nearing completion. As for comments of the story being stolen,copied, or any nefarious acts having taken place, Amazon took the book down to investigate, and quickly dismissed allegations made. I'll trust Amazon and their legal process somewhat more than a vile attention seeker making their allegations. My source for this info' is verified as a continuation auther by rights and legal facts. I know this absolutely as I'm his proud Father. Keep reading, constructive critics more than welcome, but if you are not a fan say so nicely and read something else. Seems Reasonable.
