The server wheeled the cart into the giant bedroom, then walked over to the curtains and pulled the rope. The giant window allowed the bright light to enter from the scorching sun of the planet Bok.

The Earth woman lying in the bed groaned and opened her eye a fraction. "Mmmm. Where am I?"

"The palace, your greatness." The man went back to the cart and began scooping a jelly onto several small bread discs. "We will conduct your training this afternoon. For this morning, you have an appointment set up for a meeting. You may meet her in the library."

Penny sat up and blinked the sleep out. She made her way over to the cart and tried a few of the small bread discs. "Oooh," mused Penny. "This is really nice, Mister...um...?"

"I am Eltar, your greatness," the man explained. "I will be your tutor on matters of state. Far be it for me to question the queen's judgment on selecting an alien to lead us." He smiled diplomatically. "Perhaps eight hundred years of tradition needed changing."

Penny gave a smirk. "You're kind sarcastic, aren't you?"

"I prefer to think of myself as having a dry wit," Eltar kidded. "I assure you we will have you a native Boccan before the end of the year. Does madam have a request for dinner?"

Penny sighed. "I don't know about many of the foods here! I mean, I like a good barbecue."

Eltar pondered. "Combustion to cook. I shall consult the chef. Perhaps we can chisel you a wheel from a stone as well."

Penny finished her breakfast, then ran off for a shower. Eltar took the tray away, then waited out in the hall while Penny got on her outfit.

She went out of the room and held up her arms. "What do you think, Eltie?" She had on a Boccan summer dress with some nice running shoes.

"Casual wear will be fine for now," Eltar responded. "I will have to show you some finery later. The future queen of the planet needs to set an example."

Eltar led Penny over to the library, which was more like an archive of the entire planet. "This is beautiful!" She turned to Eltar. "Is this mine?"

"You may certainly use it, although the texts are all in Boccan," he reminded her. "Another one of our lessons. You cannot rely solely on the translators all of your life. Speaking of, we need to get one installed for you soon. It's a painless procedure, and it sits right in your ear. You will not even notice it."

Penny looked around the room. "Yeah, sounds fun. Hey, who was the appointment for today?"

Eltar looked down the hall, then motioned for the person to come near. "She is right here."

The woman stomped into the doorway, and Penny turned to look. There she was--the giant barbarian woman that Penny had fought for the crown. She looked even larger than what Penny remembered. Her leg was bandaged from where she had stabbed herself during the fight.

Eltar clapped his hands together. "Well, I will leave you to it." He exited, closing the doors as he left.

The barbarian woman stomped forward, and Penny froze in terror. "Hey, you," Penny said through a forced grin. The barbarian came lumbering at Penny with her arms out. Penny flinched and closed her eyes, hoping for the best.

Penny felt herself being lifted up off the ground, held in the giant arms of the massive orange woman. Penny was confused as she felt her legs danging in the air.

"Oh, thank you, thank you!" The orange barbarian rested her head on Penny's. "I wanted to be queen, but you have spared my life!"

"I think I'm dying," Penny yelled into the woman's bicep.

The orange woman put Penny down on her feet. Penny reinflated, then put a hand on the woman's arm. "You don't want to kill me anymore, right?"

"I am sorry, your greatness," the woman pleaded. Her face started to crumple up and her eyes got wet. "I just wanted to be able to assume the throne, and then you came along, and you beat me so easily, and--" The woman gave huge, heaving sobs.

Penny stood there with wide eyes, then patted the woman's shoulder gently. "Look, it's all right." She gave the shoulder a squeeze. "Good Lord, you're massive. You could play for the Colts."

The woman put her hands around Penny's neck. "I just tried so hard! I passed the Four Feats! I was so close."

Penny took the woman's hands and tried to navigate them away from her vulnerable neck. "Hey, it's all right. A woman like you should do well. What's your name?"

The woman took a breath and seemed to calm down. "I am Oola. I am from the Kanasar tribe."

Penny could not understand the reference, and tried to remember the detail to research later. "Look, I'm sorry, too. I mean, the queen just seemed to pick me on a whim. This just sounds like a great opportunity for me."

"But I do not know what to do with myself anymore!" Oola's face crumpled up again. "I have been shamed with my combat loss. I don't know what to do, Penny!"

"Okay, okay!" Penny wanted to avoid another hug. "Listen--the queen suggested to me that I find some people to help me...like an entourage or something. How about you be my bodyguard?"

Oola wiped at her eye. "Bodyguard? Me?"

"Yeah!" Penny clapped her hands together. "And you did the Four Feats, right? I need to get those done. You can help me! Ooh, I bet you can teach me how to fight like a real warrior, right?"

Oola nodded, still snivelling. "I would be most honoured, your greatness."

"Awesome!" She looked Oola over. "So...you seem to cry a lot for a big ol' fighter."

"I cannot help it, Penny." She tried to dry her eyes again. "I get so emotional. Everyone assumes I am so fierce and so strong. I feel things, Earth woman! I am a female!"

Penny patted Oola's stomach. "And you're a really lovely one, too!" Penny patted Oola's abs a few more times. "Jesus, what kind of crunches are you doing? Anyway, there's a spare bedroom right off from mine. You can move right in there! You'll still have privacy, but you can bust right in when there's trouble. Okay?"

Oola held out her arms again. "Ah ah ah!" Penny held up her hand, and Oola took it in a handshake, which was mercifully gentle. "There we go! Look, I gotta go tour around the palace a bit before I get started on learning the entire planet's history."

"I will go to the training yard." Oola walked off, looking more chipper.

Penny let out a sigh of relief. She was unsure if she was about to have her safety galvanized or jeopardized.

Eltar suggested that Penny check out the stables for the myxlos. Penny had a close experience riding one through the Scorchlands with Vitala. She made way down to the palace grounds, finding a sprawling field.

The stables were within walking distance, so Penny headed over. The smell of the myxlos was becoming apparent. She was careful to avoid the large green piles as she walked on.

Penny heard the snorting and rustling of the myxlos, then heard someone singing. She figured it was a Boccan tune she had never heard before, but it sounded lovely.

When she went in to explore, she found a young woman brushing a myxlo with a hand brush. Her back was turned to Penny and went on with her brushing. She had darker red skin, and her silver straight hair hung down her back close to her behind. She was wearing tight beige pants and a white sleeveless top.

After a while, the young woman realized she was not alone and turned to see the visitor. She had a lovely face, with big doe eyes and pouty lips. She looked horrified when she saw Penny.

"Your greatness!" The woman hit the ground and bowed all the way down. "I apologize for not acknowledging you!"

Penny chuckled and bent down to help the girl to her feet. "Hey, relax! I'm just like you!" She looked at her arms. "Okay, maybe a bit different." The woman stood on her feet. "I'm Penny. Pleased to meet you."

"I am so sorry again," the woman said. She was probably a little over five feet tall, which made Penny glad she finally met someone smaller than her for once. "I am the palace myxlo tamer and groomer. My name is Groovi."

Penny smiled as her eyes went wide. "That's such a cool name! Groovy, baby!"

Groovi appeared to relax. "I am glad you like it, madam. May I please ask what brings you down here?"

"Oh! I was just taking a tour," Penny mentioned. "This is my first chance to inspect the palace. I thought I would start here with these big beasts, y'know?"

"I am so lucky to get to work here," Groovi said. "Would you like to take a ride, madam?"

"I would love that," Penny replied. Groovi got the saddles ready and chose two mares to take out. Within a few minutes, they were riding off. Groovi was able to get them to leave the giant wall and head towards the drier areas.

They made way down along the valley. "Where are you from, your greatness?"

"Call me Penny!" she ordered. "I'm from Earth. I went along with a space trader when she wanted my sand."

"What a silly woman," Groovi said. "There is sand all around us."

"I think yours has more of a limestone matrix," Penny responded. "I'm just sad that I had to say goodbye to Vitala."

"She was good friends with you?"

"We were really close," Penny agreed, not getting specific. "She just had to go for her planet's sake. I wanted to see what this planet had to offer. I mean, she went and left me back on Earth for a year! Okay, I get it--she didn't want to get tied down, or whatever." She looked over at Groovi. "Am I rambling?"

"Oh, I enjoy listening to your stories, your gr--I mean, Penny." Groovi giggled. "I will be happy to help you with your studies. I was taught to read by the other help."

Penny thought it was odd that she bragged about knowing how to read, but really liked Groovi's enthusiasm over everything. Every once in a while, Groovi would stand up a bit in her saddle, and Penny would notice just how great Groovi's ass looked. She also looked so confident when she rode.

The two of them came down to a steeper area near a river, or at least what Penny assumed was a river. "Where are we?"

"This is the outflow from the power plant," Groovi explained. "I like it because the water is warm." The river looked an unnatural shade of blue.

"Is this toxic or something?" asked Penny.

"No, madam," Groovi said. "I would not put you in any danger. This is merely coolant from the power plant, and it uses a calcium scrub. It's perfectly safe."

The two of them tied up the myxlos. They had some fresh grass nearby to munch and standing water to drink.

"There is a grotto down here that is great for swimming," offered Groovi. She took Penny's hand and guided her down the steep walkway. The grotto was shielded from the light and had a beautiful light blue pool.

"I am ready!" Groovi ripped off her shirt, then her pants went. She stood there with her maroon body, looking amazing. She had such a lean body on her. Groovi turned around, and Penny got a shot of that beautiful ass.

Groovi dove into the water. She popped up, then her butt poked just out of the water. With her maroon skin, the shape was a perfect heart for a brief moment. Groovi's silver hair was perfectly soaked, clinging to her head. She looked incredibly graceful and care-free.

"Oh my good God damn, girl," Penny muttered.

Groovi spun around and smiled. "Penny! Are you not going to join me?" She bobbed up in the water, showing her lovely breasts.

"How do you have pink nipples?" Penny exclaimed.

Groovi looked down. "I don't know. I always felt like they were so ugly."

Penny put a hand to her head. "I can't believe this." Penny went for it, stripping to nothing, then diving in as well. Groovi was right about the water. It felt about body temperature, and the dissolved calcium gave the water a gritty feel. "This is really cool!"

Groovi found a rock shelf that was only a bit submerged. She stood up, showing off that round ass of hers, like her cheeks were sculpted by doing a thousand squats a day. Penny bobbed in the water with her mouth hanging open.

Groovi turned around, wringing out her long hair. "Your greatness? Why don't you come over here? It is most comfortable." She turned around again, then put her arms up to the sky with her palms out.

Penny was in awe. The great valley in between her back muscles, her gorgeous little round butt, those limber legs of hers, and the lovely long strands dangling down all made for a sight. Penny swam over, not losing sight of the lovely deep red figure in the shadows.

Penny got up to Groovi and sat down on the rock slab. She was able to prop her feet up just poking out of the blue water.

"Your greatness! I would like to massage your feet," Groovi offered.

Penny rested her elbows up on the slab. "By all means."

Groovi got on her knees while straddling Penny's lap, then bent way down to reach Penny's feet. She had her pussy within licking distance of Penny. The gorgeous ass was now right in Penny's face.

Penny had no choice but to sit there and drool while Groovi did her magic. "My goodness, your greatness! You have such wonderful toes!"

"Uh huh."

"Your ankles are so dainty! You truly are of royal stock!"

Heavy, heavy panting. "Yep."

"Oh, I am so happy to get to know the future queen!" She spun around, sitting right in Penny's lap, their faces only inches apart. Groovi had the brightest smile. "You can always trust me. Penny."

Penny snapped out of it and tried to sit up, which made Groovi tip to the side. "I'm sorry! I'm...sorry." She steadied herself as Groovi put a gentle hand on her shoulder.

"My lady?" Groovi sounded worried and confused. "Did I do wrong?"

Penny put her hand over her mouth, then laughed. "No. No, I...I'm just a little...um. I just lost someone special to me a little while ago, remember?"

Groovi's eyes went wide as she placed her hands over her heart. "Oh no! I hope I did not cause you grief!"

"No, it's fine! You've been really cool to me." Penny sat and blushed. "I wasn't sure what we wanted to be to each other. I thought maybe she would want to stay here on Bok. Maybe I'm the selfish one. I just wanted to see where this was all going. Now she has to fly off and save her people, and..." She flicked at the water. "I just wanted to see what I could do for all of you."

Groovi surprised Penny by grabbing her in a hug. "I know you can do great things, Penny! I can sense it. You know, I had heard that you had spared someone in combat. That is not easy to do! I mean, what if someone had tried to hurt me? I'm no one special."

Penny looked at Groovi, but gave a small peek first at her bright pink nipples. "Don't say that! Everyone has something special to offer."

"Awwww! You are so kind!" Groovi grabbed Penny in another hug, rubbing her tits right up on Penny's arm. Penny balled up a fist and tightened her lips, trying like crazy to resist the urges.

Penny decided they had better head back, so they got their clothes on. Penny took one last look at that lovely little bottom before getting dressed. The two of them took their myxlos and rode them back to the stables, just in time for Penny's first lesson on Boccan history.

She spent a good deal of time with Eltar, learning the finer points of Bok's heritage. Penny had completely missed that they had an ocean on the other side of the world, and the biomes there were rich in life. There was also a vast subterranean ocean under their feet, and for centuries the people were able to exploit the water beneath them.

Later, Eltar gave her the very first exposure to the Boccan language. Penny felt humbled by being offered the children's book My Pretty Myxlo to read. The symbology of the Boccan language was straightforward, and used a series of mathematical symbols rather than the simple Roman lettering.

The next day, Eltar woke up Penny in her usual manner, only he had prepared a few of the foods that Penny had suggested. He was able to find a similar substitute to make pancakes, which Penny devoured. There was no syrup, but Eltar was able to squeeze out several dandang berries to make a great sticky juice.

"You will be training with Oola today," Eltar mentioned as Penny finished off the pancakes. "I believe she will have you on a physical program for a great deal of time."

"Oh God," Penny groaned. "Do you think I'll end up like..." She made a screwed up face as she flexed her muscles.

Eltar allowed a stiff chuckle. "I believe Oola's results speak for themselves. Besides, we do not want to disappoint such a large person."

"Mmm, that's a good point," Penny figured. "Okay, I'll get out there."

Penny met with Oola on the palace green. "Come here, your greatness."

Penny sputtered. "You don't have to keep calling me that. I'm just Penny, okay?"

Oola handed her a rope with a handle on one end and a large metal ball on the other. "You will swing this around your head, much like this." She picked up one of her own, with a much larger ball. She got the ball swinging with the handle over her head so that it made a kind of figure-eight motion.

Penny sighed, then tried to swing the ball around in the same way. She had a few successful swings, then managed to get it wound around her. "Help!"

Oola laughed, then rescued her future queen. "You must learn control, Penny. This is not meant just as exercise. I am training your body and mind to work together."

The two of them did the swinging for ten minutes. Penny's arms were already tired. Oola had a series of free weights of varying shapes and sizes, which looked like they were custom made for very specific exercises.

Penny loved watching Oola doing her own exercises, and she was glad that Oola did all of the exercises right along her. It felt like she wanted to get her own training done, but also like Oola was trying to encourage her.

It was nearly an hour in, and Penny felt like she was about to drop. Oola got her to rest as she went right on lifting weights.

"How did you get like this?" asked Penny as she felt her skin baking in the sun.

"I have trained since I was a girl," Oola said between grunts. She was lifting dumbbells that looked like they each weighed as much as Penny. "I do not want you to be discouraged. I think that you will be powerful and confident before you ascend the throne."

"Is this necessary, though?" Penny wondered. "Look at the current queen. You think anyone fights her?"

Oola put down her dumbbells. "The queen herself was physically strong at one point. Perhaps not like me, but she knew the risks of leadership. People respond to strength."

Penny pursed her lips. "I guess there's more to this job than eating turkey legs all day."

"You are not alone in this job," Oola said. "There are ministers who will advise you. No one expects a queen to be able to do everything."

Penny chuckled. "I've seen a lot of kings and queens who were expected not to do anything." She looked over at Oola. "You're not...mad, are you? I mean, I kind of took your crown."

Oola's head fell. "You spared my life," she said softly. "No one else would have done so. It is the condition of all of us to want to conquer the stronger foe. It was just heartbreaking to have all of this training be for naught."

Penny went up to the hulking barbarian and put a hand on her upper arm. "You know, you're smarter than I gave you credit for being. I think you're a wise woman."

Penny wheezed as the big arms flew around her and squeezed her like a python. "You make me so happy, your greatness!"

"Glurk!" responded Penny.

They did a cooldown, then Penny went to get showered off. Every part of her was aching. Eltar had prepared her a great lunch of a meat that tasted like a turkey and bacon mix, with some lovely purple beans and a cooked grain dish. They spent the afternoon learning more about the planet, with Penny finally struggling through the Boccan language.

"Fanafu nasu casilla. Nasa junni coa nau. Welcome to our castle. We are happy to see you."
