Okay, you totally took me by surprise with the elementary school reveal. I hope that you carry it deeper into Tristan's motivation. He's been crushing on Emily since 5th grade. I still remember my 5th grade crush. Her name is Beth and we're still friends. I blew her away about 3 weeks ago when I revealed to her for the first time that I had a crush on her back then. Totally gobsmacked her.

But I digress. I'm enjoying the slow burn. But I wish that the chapters were longer. Just about the time that I'm getting into the story, the end of the chapter shuts me down. Pooh!!! 5/5
