I wasn't certain about this story on the first page, but you crafted it very well, great ending!

Great story but I loved the ending. That was a strange compromise with Kelly but since Marianna is such a wonderful understanding wife, that was the perfect compromise. Well done and thanks for posting it.

I don't mind science fiction, but the MC doesn't push back once. Don't you think he would have fought back from the beginning with everything he had? Also, people in high stress situations don't tend to eat and take a nap. Good concept, not great execution.
