I'll be rather mad if (and when) Shae turns out to be manipulating Layla for her own ulterior motives. Still, the writing of these two characters is impeccable. I'd be hard pressed to find stories on this site with characters as fleshed out and feeling as close to real as Layla and Shae have proven.
