Please continue to allow us to follow Max; after all, she is your character — so rich, flawed, sexual, tender, tough and real. You are a very talented writer; goodness I reread the earlier Max stories to better appreciate this tale. So, hopefully you have more to share about this women. Was about to add a string of adjectives to describe Max, but why — you and your readers already know this uniquely interesting person about which we want more. Damn, you create captivating storylines around immersive characters, thanks for sharing,

These are such good stories, find them difficult to put down, thanks so much

Max is *such* a broken character. She's weak, and yet strong. She's lost, and yet determined. She's committed, yet so wishy-washy. She's loving, and yet so terrible at picking loves.

We want to hate her, condemn her, ignore her. She's such a walking train wreck.

And yet … we don't. We love her. We give her our patience. We are so hopeful for her.

Give us another chance to love her...

This is giving me heartache ....... A loving mother working for the force, not making enough to pay the bills for the son and so turning a blind eye for criminals to help survive the son ....... And yeah max getting in the line of fire, love ....... Tragedy , this chapter hurts ....... But definitely worth ten stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🍀
