OK, I gave up trying to read this. Sorry to say it's not very good.

Lamented: a conventional way of describing someone who has died or something that has been lost or that has ceased to exist.

Did I miss a contest where the rules are to butcher the language?

The story has potential but the gaffs are unforgivable.
