It’s fun but the truth is that she really isn’t his mother anymore. Their original dynamic is gone so while she can be called mother she really isn’t anymore. Still loved the story though.

Obviously it's sad to see what her fate ended up as and even though she was able to retain her memories, mentally she has been destroyed. She only knows pleasure and knows that she's doing it with her son. All in all though, it's a bittersweet story and as such, very enjoyable.
