The action is certainly hot, but I felt the character development is a bit weaker than your other efforts. I think we have a good idea who Kay is, but the others, not so much. I hope Mr. and Mrs. Smith will get more development in the next chapter and beyond. An interesting start, need some heavy lifting in Ch. 02 to make up for missed opportunity in this chapter.
