Sex between step-siblings may not necessarily be incest, but in most societies it is considered to be taboo - which is why I listed this story in this category.

Incest? Maybe, maybe not...

In some jurisdictions all it takes to make it incest is for the step parent to adopt the step child, which is often done.

Agreed. Taboo.

So many readers in this category forget that it has two parts. Good taboo story. You managed to squeeze in just enough of the guilty, know-it's-wrong-but-do-it-anyway narrative that it needs. The dialouge was a bit stilted, but that's probably because of the self-imposed word limit. I enjoyed it over all.
