The only thing we have learned from Prom Pt. 01 was "Ellie" is 18, 5'5, slim built with medium length dark brown hair. We still don't even know his name.

More of a back story to "Ellie" would be great.

You're doing great telling the story, but you're going to have to develop "Ellie" more if you really want to hook the readers.

You never really developed this person. Is Ellie because his real name is Elliot? How long is medium length? Medium length guys hair and medium length girls hair are too very different things. He is 5'5 so 5'3 isn't much shorter as you described the girl. Never did make-up or anything to transition his features. Maybe before going farther into prom (which I have yet to see) you could do a prequel type story. Explain Ellie and how she came to be. Why did Kevin's friends say we brought Mitch? Who the hell is Mitch?
