Wondering why Virginia asked, I thought back. I suddenly remembered the woman with sapphire blue eyes who had two boys I saw at Jack's. I answered, "Yes, we were. And you and the boys were there, too. I remember that you had the most incredible sapphire blue eyes, and I felt something that I hadn't really felt since college."

"I felt it, too," Virginia said, locking eyes with me. "When our gazes locked, it felt like an electric shock going through my body."

With that, we kissed. The feel of Virginia's lips on mine made my whole body vibrate from the sensation. Our mouths opened, and we both moaned in unison as our kiss deepened and our tongues battled each other. My hands wandered over Virginia's body, and I reveled in how it felt running my hands over her soft, smooth skin. Her hands were just as active, and I loved the feel of her hands on my body. We eventually ended up bringing each other to orgasm before nature's call drove us out of bed.

We went into the bathroom, and I went to turn on the shower while Virginia squatted over the toilet bowl to pee. I couldn't help but focus on the source of her urine. Virginia looked up and noticed my attention, and widened her stance, grinning at me. I caught my breath, and my nipples hardened and stood up proudly as my body reacted to seeing Virginia pee. As Virginia finished and wiped herself, she looked me in the eye and said, "So, you like to watch women pee?"

I blushed as Virginia grinned widely at me. Hoping I hadn't grossed her out, I said, "Y ... yes, I do. I hope you don't mind?"

Virginia walked up to me and put her arms around me. She kissed me hard before answering, "I don't mind at all. In fact, it kind of turns me on to watch you enjoying me pee. I'll pee for you whenever you want."

I thrilled at hearing that because it was something I had always wanted to do. I had watched Jon pee, but it wasn't the same watching his urine coming out of his cock as it is watching urine coming out of a woman's pussy. I went to take my turn to pee, squatting over the toilet bowl, and, out of courtesy, asked, "Do you want to watch me pee?"

"It's really not my thing," Virginia said before she turned and hopped into the shower. Virginia left the shower door open while I finished peeing. I thought to myself that maybe someday I'll be able to convince her to enjoy it as much as I do. I wiped and flushed before joining Virginia in the shower.

It had been a while since I had had a chance to shower with someone, and I loved it. I loved how Virginia took pains to ensure that every inch of my body was scrubbed, sometimes two or three times. Of course, I returned the favor and spent a lot of time making sure Virginia was squeaky clean when we finished. I loved shampooing her hair, loving the feel of her hair as I ran my fingers through it. We dried each other off, wrapping up our hair in towels, and I pulled out a couple of terrycloth robes for us to wear. We then padded downstairs in our bare feet to the kitchen.

I grabbed food out of the refrigerator to start preparing breakfast. Virginia pitched in and grabbed a couple of glasses out of the cupboard, and I pointed out to her to pour some orange juice for us. As I was busy fixing eggs and bacon, Virginia asked, "How did you find out about Jack's, and when did you start going there?"

I stopped momentarily to think about it and then went back to preparing breakfast as I said, "I think it was sometime in 1990 when my friend Megan took me there for lunch one day."

"Would that, by any chance, be Megan McNeil?" Virginia asked.

I stopped what I was doing, shocked that Virginia had mentioned her name. I turned to her and asked, "Why, yes, it is! How do you know her?"

"You better sit down. This may take a while," Virginia said.

I found a seat and turned to Virginia, ready to hear what she had to say.

Virginia looked down at the floor, gathering her thoughts. Then she looked up at me with a sad look on her face and said, "Megan was my teacher in the first class I took at UC-Irvine to get my Master's degree."

I smiled when I heard that. Megan had wanted to be a teacher and had taken a sabbatical from her job at Raytheon to see if she could make a career out of teaching. But I was concerned about why Virginia was looking sad.

"When I first laid eyes on her, I was gobsmacked," Virginia continued. "We hit it off right away and started dating."

Virginia stopped when she saw the smile on my face change to a stunned look. She reached over and took my hand as I tried to process what I had just heard. Megan was a woman I had lusted after but never did anything with because I wouldn't cheat on Jon, and she wouldn't date a married woman. Discovering Virginia had actually dated her, and I hadn't been able to, was a shock. This caused a brief flash of anger to shoot through my thoughts and onto my face.

"What's wrong, Judy?" Virginia asked. She looked scared, as though she had done something wrong, and everything was just about to go to hell.

I literally shook myself and got myself back under control before I squeezed her hand and said, "I ... I'm sorry, Virginia. That took me completely by surprise." I paused, swallowing a couple of times to get myself back under control. I continued, "I had crushed on Megan but didn't do anything about it because I was married. When you said that you two hit it off right away, I was momentarily angry that I couldn't have done that. In no way was I angry with you."

I squeezed Virginia's hand again and then pulled her in for a hug. "I'm sorry, Virginia," I said, tears leaking out of my eyes.

Virginia hugged me back and said, "I'm sorry, too, Judy."

We held each other for a beat while I got my tears under control. We broke our hug and sat back. Virginia smiled tentatively at me, and I dashed away my tears and smiled back at her.

"I'm sorry about that, Virginia," I said. "I couldn't help but notice that you looked sad when you started talking about Megan."

Virginia squeezed my hand again before she continued, "At the time, I really thought Megan was the one that I could love for the rest of my life. We were practically inseparable, and Matthew and Mark really liked her, and she really liked them too."

Virginia looked me in the eye and said, "Then she got an offer from MIT for a tenured teaching position."

I was stunned again. I squeezed Virginia's hand and said, "Megan had called me and cried about having to end a relationship. I didn't realize that it was you she had cried about. She told me that she was totally in love with someone but that the opportunity to teach at MIT was her dream job."

"Yes, it was, and I wasn't going to stand in her way," Virginia said, tearing up. We hugged it out again, and I could feel Virginia's body shaking from the sobs she was trying to quell.

I whispered in her ear, "It's okay, Virginia," over and over until she stopped. We separated once again, and this time Virginia dashed the tears out of her eyes. She smiled, saying, "Wow, what a way to put a damper on a morning after a night of incredible sex."

I smiled back and said, "Well, let's get some food in us, and maybe we can have a great morning of sex to get back in the proper mood?"

"Sounds good to me," Virginia said, smiling back.

With that, I finished up preparing breakfast, and we dug in, not wanting to waste any time as each of us turned our thoughts to making love with the woman sitting across from us.

Who knew sex on the kitchen floor, counters, and table could be so hot?

***

As much as I wanted to keep Virginia here and spend the rest of the day making love with her, I had to send her home so I could go get my girls. As I walked Virginia out to her car, I asked, "Would you like to have dinner at my parent's place with the girls and me? I'd really like for you to meet them, and they get to meet you. I know they'll just love you."

Virginia turned to me and said, "Only if you'll return the favor and meet Grace and Kathy. They're not really my parents, but they're the next best thing to it."

"Deal," I said, leaning in and down to her upturned lips and kissing her. I didn't care if my neighbors saw us; I loved this woman, and I would always want her lips on mine.

Virginia smiled and got in her car. I stood there and watched her drive away. I vowed that soon she would never have to drive off again, that we would both be home together.

I sighed and headed back inside. I cleaned up the kitchen before going upstairs and cleaning up my bedroom, and airing it out. I knew I wasn't going to hide what happened here, but I wasn't going to advertise it either.

I headed over to see Mom and Dad and to get the girls. Amy had driven her and Emily over last night, and I could have just called and told them they could come home, but I wanted to see Mom and Dad. Once I got there, the girls came running out before I could even get out of the car. They practically pulled me out of the car when I opened the door.

Seeing the broad smile on my face, Amy asked, "Well, Mom, I take it everything went great?"

"Yeah, Mom," Emily piped in, "how did it go?"

As the girls escorted me into the house, I said, "I think we had a good time."

"Mom!" the girls said simultaneously, "We want details!"

I saw Mom and Dad coming up to me, and I said, "Sorry, girls. That's not going to happen."

I walked up and hugged Mom. She hugged me back and asked, "I hope you had a good time?"

"Yes, I did, Mom," I said, breaking the hug.

I turned to Dad and hugged him. He hugged me back and asked, "So, how did it go?"

I said, "It went great, Dad. We had dinner and then went dancing."

I broke the hug and turned to the girls and said, "Get your stuff and get ready to go."

As the girls went off to get their things, I turned back to Mom and Dad and said, "I'd like to bring Virginia and her boys over to have dinner with you next week."

Dad smiled while Mom said, "Of course, dear. We'd love to meet her and her two boys."

"Great! I'm glad you can do it on such short notice since Matthew has to go back to college after next week," I said, moving in to hug Mom and Dad one more time as the girls came out with their overnight bags.

We all said our goodbyes and left, me in my car and the girls in Amy's car. When we got home, the girls ran inside while I took my time. I knew I'd be spending a while dishing with the girls, and I was looking forward to it.

***

Monday morning found me once again, making sure I looked nice for Virginia. The girls commented on my outfit and fussed over me until it was time for them to head to school and me to work. The drive into work went smoothly, and I made it up to my office without making a fool out of myself. Sue looked up and smiled at me when she saw the smile on my face.

"So, did you have a good weekend, Judy?" she asked.

"I had a great weekend," I nearly yelled since I was so happy. I was grinning like a fool as I stood there in front of Sue's desk.

"You went out on a date, didn't you?" Sue asked, making it a statement more than a question.

Instead of answering immediately, I headed into my office and motioned Sue to join me. When Sue came in, she closed the door and sat down across the desk from me, and asked, "Who is he?"

I was sure Sue would not be upset or even surprised if I outed myself since we had worked closely for so many years. I said, "First, you need to pinkie-swear you won't tell anybody right now. It's someone in the company, and I don't want any gossip running around."

"Oh, I see," she said, a big smile coming over my face. "Okay, I pinkie-swear that I won't tell a soul."

She reached across the desk, and we hooked each other's little finger and shook on it. Then I leaned forward and said, "I went out on a date with Virginia Hanratty."

The look on Sue's face was precious as she assimilated what I had just said. Her eyes got big in surprise, but I saw no hint of disapproval in her face. I just sat there smiling, waiting for her to say something.

"Oh, wow," Sue finally said. "Cathy and I suspected something was going on between you two, but we never thought you two would actually act on it."

"Oh?" I asked. "So, we were already the subject of gossip?"

"Oh, no," Sue quickly replied. "This was just between Cathy and me, and we never said a word to anybody else."

"Thank you for that," I said, smiling at Sue to let her know I wasn't upset with her or Cathy.

So, where did you go?" Sue asked, leaning forward in excitement.

"We had dinner at Kincaid's Fish, Chop & Steak House in Redondo Beach, and then we went to the Blue Moon over in Strawberry Park to do some dancing," I said.

"Ah, that's a nice restaurant," Sue said. "I'm not familiar with the Blue Moon, though."

"Well, I wouldn't be surprised. It's a lesbian nightclub," I replied.

"So, did you two ..." Sue started to ask.

Leading her on, I grinned and said, "Dance? Yes, we did."

Sue's eyes got even bigger before she asked, "And then did you ...."

I grinned even more widely and said, "A lady doesn't kiss and tell."

"Oh, so there was kissing?" Sue asked.

I just smiled and said, "I'm going to go get some coffee. Want any?"

Realizing she wasn't going to get any more out of me, Sue got up when I did and said, "No, I'm good for now. Talk to you later."

We walked out of my office, and Sue went to her desk while I headed to the break room.

I didn't see Virginia in the break room, but I knew I'd see her at the staff meeting. I was really looking forward to seeing her at the staff meeting. When I got to the conference room, Virginia was just coming down the hall from the other direction. Our eyes met, and the rest of the world went away for a moment. We both smiled as I said, "Good morning, Virginia. I hope you had a nice weekend?"

"Why, yes, I did, Judy," Virginia said. "I hope your weekend went well?"

"Yes, it was a memorable weekend," I replied. After a beat, I said, "Let's get seated. This is going to be an interesting meeting."

We went in and found two seats together. Now that we've had sex, the sexual tension making it difficult to sit together was no longer there. I actually enjoyed the entire staff meeting, feeling comfortable interacting with Virginia. I don't know if Steve knew what had happened between us, but he did seem to realize we were interacting much more smoothly together.

Once the staff meeting was over, we walked out together, and before we parted, I asked, "See you at lunch today?"

"Yes," Virginia answered, smiling. "I'm looking forward to it."

"Me, too," I said, returning her smile.

With that, we went our separate ways back to our offices. I spent the rest of the morning with Bob, finishing up our overall schedule for the year to update all of the in-house tools my group was responsible for. The e-PUT upgrade was the most significant effort, but we would start looking at updates for e-File and e-ConFig. I knew Virginia was putting together a briefing for me covering functionality she'd like to see in e-ConFig. I made sure there was a hook for that in the schedule.

Just before we broke for lunch, Bob said, "Judy, I don't want you to take this wrong, but I've noticed you are much more relaxed than you have been for the past few months. I'm glad because I was a little worried about you there for a while."

I smiled at Bob to let him know I wasn't upset and said, "It's a new year, and I'm really looking forward to where my life is going at this time."

"That's great," Bob said. "You deserve all the happiness you can get."

"Thanks, Bob," I said. "Same time tomorrow?"

"Yes, let's get this baby put to bed," Bob said as we parted.

I went back to my office and dropped off my notes, and headed down to the cafeteria. I was looking forward to seeing Virginia. I put together a salad and sat down, waiting for Virginia to show up. As I waited, I noticed Sue and Cathy were sitting together, their heads together in an animated conversation. I smiled since I could guess what they were talking about.

Just then, Virginia walked in, and my heart leaped for joy. I smiled when she looked my way. She hurried off to get her lunch put together and shortly joined me at my table.

"You look nice today," Virginia said, running her eyes over my body.

I looked Virginia over, loving what I saw. "You look nice, too, Virginia."

After a beat, I said, "My parents are expecting you and the boys over for dinner Friday night, and I figured we'd want to do it before Matthew goes back to college. I hope that's okay?"

Virginia smiled and said, "That's wonderful. I'm looking forward to meeting your parents. Are Amy and Emily going to be there too?"

"Yes," I said. "We'll be eating at 7 PM, and I'll let you know what the menu is when I find out."

"It's a date," Virginia said, reaching across the table and taking my hand.

I looked down at our intertwined fingers, loving how they looked and felt. I looked back up to Virginia and softly said, "I love you, Virginia."

"I love you, too, Judy," Virginia said quietly, squeezing my hand.

With that, we ate our salads, talking about work and our kids. I passed on the girls' invitation to come to one of their swim meets, and Virginia said she would love to go. I smiled at that, knowing the girls would be thrilled to show off for Virginia.

I glanced over to see if Sue and Cathy were still there and caught them both looking at us. They quickly looked away, and I smiled and said, "Our PAs seem to be particularly interested in us."

Virginia smiled and said, "Yes, I've noticed that every time you leave my office, Cathy always seems to have to make a call to Sue, and vice versa."

"Well, I trust Sue to keep this to herself," I said, squeezing Virginia's hand.

"I'm sure Cathy will, too," Virginia said, squeezing my hand back.

"As much as I'd love to sit here with you all day, I've got work to do," I said, letting go of Virginia's hand and preparing to get up and leave.

"Yes, I do, too," Virginia said as she got up and picked up her tray. "I'm really looking forward to Friday, Judy."

"I am, too," I said as we parted and went our separate ways back to our offices.

***

Tuesday night, I called Mom to get the menu for dinner Friday night. When she answered the phone, I asked, "Mom, do you have the menu for our dinner Friday?"

"Yes, dear," Mom answered. "We're going to have chicken cacciatore and cheese ravioletti in a pink sauce along with a Caesar salad. For dessert, I'm going to make my famous honey ricotta cheesecake."

I smiled at that. Mom's cheesecake was to die for. I snarked, "You had better hide that from Dad, or we won't have any to eat Friday night."

"I know, dear. That's why I'll make it while your dad's out golfing, and I'll stash it where he won't find it," Mom said with a chuckle.

"Shall I have Virginia bring a bottle of wine?" I asked.

"Sure," Mom said. "I think a nice Riesling would go well with dinner."

"Okay, Mom, let me know if I can help with anything," I said.

"I will, dear, but I think I'll be fine. Tell the girls I love them," Mom said.

"I will, Mom. I love you. Thank you so much for doing this. I really appreciate it," I said, nearly tearing up.

"I love you, too, dear," Mom said as we ended the call.

I sat there a moment to get myself back under control. I then went into the living room and turned on the TV. After a bit, the girls came out and joined me on the couch. I hugged them tightly and told them Mom had asked me to pass on her love. We chatted for a while, and the girls were excited about meeting Virginia's boys. I admonished the girls to behave themselves and act like ladies because the boys were perfect gentlemen.

"Mom," Amy said, "you know that Emily and I are always ladylike when it suits us."

"Yeah, Mom," Emily pitched in, "we'll make sure our pinky sticks out when we sip our tea." She mimed picking up a teacup and sipping from it with her pinky sticking out.
