Especially fucking Elena and Adrianna, playing both sides, even though the Highlands winning means destruction of Alkandra and their queen/friend/lover getting violently tortured and killed. It doesn't matter if Yavara loves her old country or not, Elena, because her old country hates her.

I totally agree, feel so bad for Yavara, all the characters I liked are betraying her, but I can't stop reading...
