Great story. Loved the setup and their journey to family. Beautifully written. Thanks for sharing.
I’d like to see a family tree with all the characters. It’s hard to keep track of how everyone is related, especially those whose stories I read long ago.
I think I have missed some of the links in this series as I too have some questions as to who belongs to whom and what links Jamie and Nia to other members of the family. I first read your stories a few years ago and I loved the realism you wrote into them and I am glad to see it is still there. In a parallel universe we can see how this could happen. Oh, and I used to live just off Tickford street just around the corner from the old Aston Martin factory many years ago. I love the way you write.
Jamie and Nia's father James Morrison is the older brother of Barbara, Bobby & Ricky's mother, and Nicky's step-mother. Rosa, the mother of Sherry, is Barbara and James' youngest sister, so Sherry, Bobby and Ricky, and Jamie and Nia are all 1st cousins. The only one who's not actually blood kin of Barbara, her brother, or her sister, is Nicky.
If you drop me a line on my contact email on my profile, and leave an email address, I'll send you the spreadsheet family tree I've devised showing how the Dolan/Moran/Anderson family in 'Lost & Found' is connected to the Davis/Morrison family clan.
The final part of this story, 'Rag Doll Ch.08.2: Connecting The Dots' finally puts Jamie and Nia together with Bobby, Ricky, Yaz, and Shari, with a couple of cameos from Darryl and Lena, from 'Big Girls Don't Cry'.
Great read as always.
Can't wait for the ending.
Just one question.
Are you considering a tie in story for lost and found, down at the twist and shout and rag doll?
Ed
As in the last of Nia as well as this we hear about Julie and Mark , are you planning on a side story for them?
I always thought you would get around to finish the story
Rag Doll Ch.8.2 - Connecting The Dots part 1 is actually ready for edit; unfortunately work has had to be a priority and I've only been able to write as and when, but it's almost done now; it's been split into 2 parts, otherwise it would be too long and cumbersome, as it draws together Nicky, Bobby and Ricky's story with their Morrison cousins in the 'Nia' series, as well as bringing in all the main characters from 'Big Girls Don't Cry', and 'Lost Girl, and provides the coda for 'Sherry Baby'.
It's a complicated finale, and TBH, there's not a lot of sex, but there is Barbara's history, Nia & Jamie's parents' experiences with Brian Davis, and, finally, the significance of Barbara's charm bracelet.
