I don't know how I managed it, Candy, but somehow I seem to have missed the first chapter (I see the chapter was published near Christmas so perhaps I was diverted by other things). Anyway, finally caught up on both chapters at one reading. As ever, an excellent combination of love and tears, usually no more than a few inches apart. We all know that Bonnie was to die but it still grips the throat when she does so in the different stories. Thanks for a good start to my morning---five stars for each part.

We always have ro fight for something in life and then are some sunny days on the horizon, clauds most just around the corner ...... And sitting beside a beloved one, watching the days goes by and the sickness wins the battle, being helpless is a monster in our heart and soul ....... Yeah we try to touch those sunny days from the past, to stay sane , but loosing a child is perversion ...... Thank you for sharing your story here ....... Namaste 💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝

Heart Warming / Breaking!

I am absolutely loving the story, while learning many interesting new details of Kathy's and Grace's life together. I continue finding it amazing with them becoming lovers in 1948, while still in HS. It is especially intriguing to understand the trials of their young lives after Bonnie's death.

So much has happened in the queer world since 1948, yet in many ways their tribulations remain the same 74-Years later..

This entire Virginia-verse story series has been a sensational storyline!🎉

Okay CK, not sure if the big comment I wrote and then logged in to "Post as" is actually there, but I'll wait to see before repeating it. But to sum it up, hard subjects dealt with well, and very interesting to see what happened between Grace snd Kathy.

And write at your own pace, without apology dang it! We're all getting good stuff for free, here. (Okay, that last was a bit self serving, but RL is a bastard sometimes!)
