Nice to have the male and female view on the same events! A bit hard to follow at times, but the 2 viewpoints plus memories vs present time made it an interesting read. More to come from these authors?

Hey all, thanks for the great comments. Sorry about the back and forth confusion; I thought it was obvious that when I separated section by the multiple asterisks that it was swapping form he said to she said or vice versa. It's difficult to swap back and forth from "memories" to present also, but most of it becomes obvious as you continue reading.

I liked the flow of the writing that seems like the natural telling of the story. The account would be improved in my opinion with more building of erotic tension. This seemed as the ending approached to be a summary description focused on quickly getting to the end, rather than casual open-ended lounging in the actual experience.

Wow. In the first half of the story (as told in flashbacks), Steve and Tina meet. The erotic sensuality and sexual tension begin, then slowly and steadily increase, then slowly and steadily increase some more. And then some more. (Alas, they're both married to someone else and reluctant to give adultery a try.) Their behavior and mindset strike me as very plausible and realistic. I'm pretty familiar with college professors, and I found Steve and Tina very believable.

Fortunately, before Steve's, Tina's, and the reader's brains explode from all the sexual tension, time passes, the spouses depart the scene, the couple meet again, and they hop into bed. BenLong's descriptions of their sex are long, erotic, tasteful, and nicely detailed—every bit as good as his earlier descriptions of unrelieved sexual tension. The complex time scheme, too—with its flashbacks, long time gap, and present action—is adroitly handled.

A couple of small reservations. First, in the second half of the story, Steve and Tina are happy new lovers (in Paris!), so the plot there is not much enlivened by conflicts. Second, I'm not sure that alternating the POV between Steve and Tina actually contributes enough to warrant the trouble. Their two minds and their perceptions seem to be very similar. But the dual POV doesn't do any harm, so I won't gripe. Overall: this is a very good, technically complex, skillfully written, and very erotic story. Five stars.
