Thank you for yet another wonderful story you just get better and better. I have loved the series of the Baxter pack so far - long may it continue.
i loved it. i am in aww how the lives of the baxters get better and better. my faves are drago and Kelly. all your men r dreamy but drago was that extra a little bad alot good and sexy. keep up the good writing it is so awesome to see a writer dedicated to their stories.
Am I the only one weirded out by the detail told to the cubs? Couldn't he have just said they mated instead of describing in detail their mating? I know this is Lit and we want details, but it just weirded me out. Or did I miss something and maybe he just told the details to their parents?
That was a grand tale lassie but if I ever catch you pittin lakes in ma bonnie land ah'll pit ye ower ma knees and skelp yer bahookie till yer lugs ring its LOCHS we hae here.
It was an absolutely amazing story, and I loved how you've started introducing us to the children, so we get glimpses of how they are and what their personalities are. It's very sweet.
As for the concern about the detail of the story being told to the cubs....I think it's safe to assume that the detail is for us the readers and it's not being conveyed to the children. I think the idea is to transport the reader back in time to when those things occurred not necessarily for the reader to assume that we're listening to the story that Cole is telling the children verbatim.
I am enjoying this very much. I think we are getting the story details and the cubs are just being told that they mated. I can hardly wait for the next part
What an honor to be a healer for the Baxter clan! I will have to watch my P's and Q's. You have set a new higher bar for other authors of family saga's. As we have fallen in love with the Baxter clan through your prior stories, it is wonderful to get a prequel and an insight into their past. More, more, more! Ken
I don't think Cole narrated the details of his parent's mating to the cubs. I doubt if he is even privy to that moment. That is why instead of having Cole do all the talking, the author put those scenes as flashbacks. Do you see the effect?
@lilgirlsix
It is nice to read a new story from you. I could see that your writing style has improved.
No matter how much LG6 and I talk and work together, she still astounds me with her awesome ideas. :)
This will be an ongoing series giving background stories as we come up with them. In due course we will hear from some characters of mine as well, who you will meet at the end of the new story we're co-authoring.
I could give you all some hints about where future installments of this story will take us... but where's the fun in that? ;)
Enjoyed reading the story; it has got to be difficult to gin up a backstory at this stage of the game. You did it well!!
You did a really nice on w/the back story while at the same time reminding us that the future is surly brite. How did you let us know the future was bright? Cole gave the history lesson in the new school room which they needed because of the number of successful births. And although we didn't need this story to fill in any holes in your story you gave it to us anyway because the characters demanded it. I will keep eye out for your new stories.; m
I loved this chapter...loved it. About time we learn more of the Baxter pack's history. Looking forward to the next chapter, whenever that may be.
I have read all of the Wolf's Pet chapters more than once and I was hoping for more. When I can on this site under the same tag "Werewolf" and say what you added my face lit up like a Christmas Tree. You are truly a great writer.
Loving this installment! I look forward to the next saga. I have been reading them in order. A great way to spend a weekend!
Is on its way to be edited. My plan is to post it when Fondest Dreams is finished. There are 3 more chapters to go so figure in about one month. I PROMISE!!
