Rescue Me is a beautifully written romance story, with fine characters and an excellent plot. The story moves at a steady pace, neither too fast nor too slow. Five stars

Perfect ending

You mentioned 'Under my skin" which is a Diana Krall favorite of mine so I will suggest "World on a String" by Diana and the great Tony Bennett as an ending to your story.

Really good story, as well as the character development and circumstances that you have them meeting, I like the touch of expeditionary travelogue you’ve given those of us that are never likely to visit the S.Tahoe area, it makes a pleasant change to read about an out of the way place in a positive setting. 5 stars, as I loved it, many thanks for writing and posting, cheers Ppfzz.

I don't know your background, but you did an excellent job of detailing all of the work done for the rescue and then the emergency campsite.
