Click hereAfter my shock wore off, I had to consider what Juliette and I meant to each other, how dear she was, and is, to me. I think back to that luncheon we had where she and I professed our love for each other. Juliette said:
"Tawney, do you think my love for you would ever stand in the way of you being happy, however it might happen? My love for you won't disappear or even dim if you share your love with someone else woman or man! In fact it will be stronger because I know you will be happy. We are together even when we are apart; we are together even if we have other loves. I love YOU, Tawney...nothing will change that!"
Well, here we are, My Dear Juliette. I hope that is still so.
I wrote Juliette a letter, an honest to goodness latter, not an email or a text, telling her just that, and refreshing the memory of the love we shared and share. I also told her of my joy for her happiness with her new wife.
There was no reason not to.
This morning I got a text from Tanya: Tawney, call me, there is someone I want you to meet!
Ended, for now
