Some good elements but all in all a bit underwhelming.

Given the basic she got tricked into fucking another man there are a couple of glaring holes. If she thought he was having an affair with the secretary you'd think she would have confronted her well before. The genre only makes sense if the wife doesn't know the "other woman". 1. The plot relies on the old standby wife character who is so stupid she should be institutionalized. This plot device isn't credible unless the woman is mentally impaired in some way. That requires more character development than is here.

Her lack of respect for her husband and willingness to condemn him without being heard in real life indicates a woman with a very low opinion of her husband. And Leon? If he's such a nice guy and knows it's wrong, then why would he go through with it when the wife is blubbering about it for 6 hours? And Selena? She DRUGS him and restrains him, and she a wonderful human being? That's a felony in real life, and for good reason.

3. The whole revenge on the neighbor thing is a farcically over the top. All it functionally does in the story is deflect responsibility from the wife for her adultery.

I would guess that this has happened to the author before. Is not a comfortable position to be in. What that shows is that the wife does not have any respect or genuine loyalty to the husband.
