We stopped at a store we saw on the way there and one case of beer for friends and ourselves. NO Beer sales in Philly was the word and plastic cups to drink in. Wink, Wink.

Molly bought four large bags of pre-made mini-Italian meatballs, a gallon of sauce, enough hot dog buns for four balls each and store brand shaker cheese. Lou, we will sell these at $2.00 each and I think they cost us about $.60 each, so if they sell, we will do good and if they don't, I will get some spaghetti and we will have pasta fest in the lot tomorrow for lunch for all.

We got to the lot a little bit after the gate had opened. We were a few rows away from the main "Shakedown Street" scene. I'd began to pre heat a pan full of the meatballs while Molly got the sauce going on her slightly stubborn old Coleman. The smell of the heating meatballs had people eating hot dogs waiting for the whole mix to get warm enough on her side. Her secret marketing plan, and she had not seen anyone else selling them at the shows so far.

After our initial rush things settled down and looking around half an hour later, I'd said "I think I see Star and Joe's school bus."

Molly looked out and saying, "and that's their VW about five hundred feet away. Good eyes."

"Molly go say hi to them when you want. I've got it all under control here now, " as I'd started our second bag of meatballs in the pan.

Just as she kissed me to leave, Joe came bounding up between the cars with his nine-year-old daughter, leading the way.

"I told you I saw their canopy and Andromeda out of the top of the bus!" as Celesta ran up and hugged Molly.

Lou and Joe clasped hands and hugged. "Glad to see you and Molly are safely here."

Celesta, talking to Molly and looking at the simmering meatballs and the sandwich a customer was putting cheese on said. "Those meatballs smell good Molly. Mom would like two with cheese... please, and I would like one... please."

Molly got some paper plates and a bag and wrapped up 7 for her to take over as she ate the one in her hand. Joe took one before she left, and I gave him a beer and in a cup.

Molly told Celesta that to tell her mom she would be by soon, as she headed off to her home on the road. Joe said. "I'll see you over there too, but first can you watch things, while I talk with Lou up front for a moment."

Once inside Joe got a serious look in his face and asked if Molly and I were well, in a tone to match?

"We are great I reassured him. All had gone well with April, Molly's mom and that we had her full blessings for tour."

He hugged me and said it will be awesome to have you guys out here for the whole Spring tour. "Did you hear about July?"

I told him that I had and that I had my roommate in Delaware mailing out the requests for up to eight tickets each for all of the July stadium tour and that Molly's mom and our other friends Megan and Mike were going to order a weeks' worth of the east coast shows to hang with us we hoped.

Joe did the quick math in his head and knew how much Lou had just written checks for via his roommate. He was a little better off than just unemployment and selling Hot Dogs, but he said nothing. He and Molly had been nothing but kind and generous to all they knew. He also knew the more tickets in circulation around them the better for all. Both were businessmen in their own way trying to live their own version of the American Dream with the women they loved!

"Excellent! Joe said in trailing slightly sci fi voice. Hey, I know you are still holding extra tickets for New Jersey and California, and I'd think you should hold them for now. They will be more valuable if you hold on to them for the shows, but I got a guy selling good green for $50.00 a quarter and $90.00 a half, smells like a pine forest.

I handed Joe a hundred and told him to keep the change and take a good bud for himself.

"Awesome, thank you Lou,"

I offered him a few hits from one of the four ready joints in the ashtray. We did three quick hits each before he took off, and I went up front to update Molly quickly and told her to go see Star and hug her for me, taking over stirring the pot and put four more dogs on.

Molly hit the joint up front then took off for Star's. It was cool and overcast, jeans and her fuzzy sweater weather. Now with her new jacket from Star's booth over it all.

Star seeing Molly pick up her pace towards her, she held up the last of her second sandwich and mouthed Thank You while then patting her belly and blowing her a kiss.

"Molly, thank you for Lunch, the kids loved them. All five of them patting her belly again. I was stuck for ideas." as they reached for the other hugging and kissing their cheeks.

"What is the secret? The hot dog buns are a great idea!"

Molly laughed, "Cheep Safeway frozen Italian meatballs and Prince sauce with cheap cheese. Mom would make my sisters and I a big batch when she was doing 40 hour shifts at the hospital as head ER nurse. I'd thought of them for us to sell and I'd had an old grill from my Girl Scout days at home. Would you like some more?

"No Molly, we are good, as Star let out a discreet burp. I had two and the girls each had one and Barny had two. Like his father, skinny with a bottomless appetite. How is Lou and how did his meeting with your mother go?"

"It went good. I think she liked him a little too much. You should get to meet her. She hopes to get to come to one of the shows in New Jersey and she is ordering for some of the July shows with her boyfriend. I think she saw them in the late 60's before or after she threw out my dad. He is a nice guy, but he did not work steady until he was forty, with a new wife. She whipped the work ethic into him. He is a good guy, and he lives about two hours from my mom. He is busy with a six-year-old girl and three-year-old twin boys."

Star smiled and laughed. "Joe's dad is a deadbeat too. He has been hustling since he was fourteen. His mom lives in Vermont at the farms many of us share. She's our master colorist. She will make almost any color dye or paint from all kinds of natural and other pigments. I don't go near her lab when I am pregnant. Many strange things and she wrinkled her nose. How are you and Lou, she asked and then in a Lower voice? Did you two make magic in the storm?"

Molly flushed down to her toenails and in an instant, the memories of the night flooded into her mind in a deeper and more vivid way than any memory had hit her before. Beneath her now very confining jeans, Molly felt the warmth in her pussy begin to etch a line along her slit as she felt her clit make a few gentle pulses at the remembered sights, sounds, touches, tastes, smells, and most of all feelings of two nights ago.

"Molly dear." Star said softly, as she took her hand, and the spell of the flashback/memory broke.

Molly felt herself stare into Star's large crystal, suspended between her breasts, her own trio reflecting on the nearest smooth side of Star's.

"Molly, you don't have to say anything. I can feel and see the love of you and Lou in joining."

Molly somewhat ignored Star only saying. "We made love in the storm like the animals in the field. Then a little lost again saying, never like that before.... For either of us!!"

Taking hold of her own crystals Molly said. "Lou is good and kind and open to join with you, Joe, and I, in love, after your little ones, Molly gently stroked Star's belly with a free hand, have joined us in this world from within you."

Star moved forward a little carefully and took her hand and kissed her lips tenderly for more than just a moment, then separated slightly. Star and Molly both tenderly and reverently taking ahold of the other's crystals. "In the next spring we will be in the field as One, as the Pack we are becoming. I love you Molly and Lou who is with you always, as she held the green crystal tenderly."

"We Love You and Joe too." Molly answered softly while deep within Stars warm soft and wet green eyes like grass in a spring shower in the sun. "We were so happy to see Joe and you were here safe. We are just beginning to grow and learn about all our love for each other and the joy we share with and bring to the other. After a second to take a deeper breath. And we hope to share our joy with others like you and Joe."

Star looked deep into Molly's eyes and spoke. "That cute couple you met the last night in Hartford. They were nice and did you and Lou talk about them? Pressing Molly's hand, and others?"

"Yes, we did, and we are open to all the love we can experience, Together, she emphasized. Both of us know we must choose very carefully who to share our love with. We must never hurt each other or those we share with. All must be open, honest, caring, loving, and gentle. Then Molly added most of the time, as she whistled and turned her head."

Laughing and playfully slapping Molly's ass moderately through her jeans, whispering. "Dirty girl!" and gave her best wicked grin. "We'll see more in Spring of 88."

Star turned to help a girl looking at her jewelry. Molly and she chatted about tour plans for a bit. She said to her to remind Lou to come to the "School bus" for two tomorrow to meet the kids and try his hand at history lessons. "Are you good for an hour or two?"

Molly said she thought she would be ok, and they were going to be at the gate early and try and park closer to them. They had run late from her moms, she said missing her a bit too.

"I can't wait to meet her Star said and you said she is a nurse. She will have to say hi to the Gemini twins."

Molly got up beginning to feel a bit guilty, leaving Lou alone for so long. "I have to go see how Lou is. We will close up early and come hang out for a bit." They hugged goodbye for now.

Molly arrived in time to see ten guys and four girls, all in matching rugby shirts, most with sauce on them, and an exhausted look on Lou's face, sitting next to an empty meatball pot and a grill with two lonely dogs left on it. "What happened Lou?"

"They had an eating contest. They saw the meatballs and ate every one of them at three for $5.00. In the end they were not even warm, and the women were horrified. We have two dogs left and I really don't want them."

I began to clean up and gave her a twenty out of our sales, saying dinner is on the rugby team from Penn and I got us two beers. I asked how Star and the rest were and she said all were good and safe.

"I only asked no Hot Dogs or Mexican. It does not agree with me, and we have to share a small tent."

Molly made a face, saying. "Ok, I understand, I would not touch "Taco Hell" either. I think they put Chihuahua's in the sauce and don't want to know what the "meat" is. She shivered. I worked there for three weeks at sixteen. I'd rather do bedpans with my mom supervising!"

I gave away the last two dogs to the first one who asked, no charge. Molly took off and returned fifteen minutes later with two burgers, four grilled cheese and a surprisingly good rice dish they shared.

One of the steady customers from Hartford came by saying, "Hey, Molson Man It's dry as a desert out here."

I replied I'd had two for a friend and got him two and filled a cup for him and his "friend" as he said Hi upon Molly's return with some fresh cookies form Val she had made on her grill.

Eating at a relaxed pace at the closed for the day "Galaxie Cafe". They had almost three hours to the show gates opened. We went up front after eating for a private smoke while Molly got our four joints ready for the show and I packed my bowl and chamber full for the day.

Molly double checked out tickets for today and we left the mushrooms behind again. Saying, "No mushrooms for a bit!" Taking another hit, from the bowl, we were good as she had another light flashback and we both fell into the music all around us in the background for a moment.

As they drifted falling into the other as their mouths sought out the other for a slow deep kiss gently feeling their tongues slowly caressing inside their mouths while their hands did the same across their bodies gently.

"You asked me to be gentle with you tonight. You deserve to be treated in any way you like and made to feel nothing but pleasure. I hope to spend my night slowly exploring all your body, and I want to cum in and with you tonight. I know you're still a little sore and the camp is crowded so we will have to be quieter. No playing in the rain either." Making a frowning face.

"I know, no howling at Luna tonight, but we will make deep, quiet, loving magic. We will be alone Tuesday night if we get a hotel and are rested." She added with a smile and kissed him deeply. Molly put the joints in a hidden pocket inside her sweater and told Lou to be careful and not crush them hugging her.

They finished cleaning up and closed and locked up Andromeda for the show, heading off to see Star's family and more of their new friends among them.

They got ice cream and a couple more loose stones for Molly to work with later before they got to the bus.

Joe and I went to smoke some of the Half ounce had for me in his bong he had hidden in the VW while Molly and Star talked and worked on jewelry and did some sales together. Molly in between made a few trips to the van for bong hits too and worked with her new stones with Star in deep discussions about wrapping and holding stones. Star was showing her different wraps with thick fishing lines for different shapes and sizes of stones and multiple stone settings.

Lou helped Joe pack up as the show drew near and Ed and Val came to join with them to all go. Star and Joe had done well today, and they were ready to enjoy tonight. Tomorrow they would have the kids, so no show then, but they would have a tape of it by the next day.

All walked to the arena happy to be there after a long day and the drive before. Now they just wanted to get out of the cooling drizzle that just started. Once inside they all went to their far apart seats vowing to meet at the intermission.

For this show Lou's tickets were for ten rows from the top of the arena almost directly above the stage at a steep angle down. "I am glad we did not have these seats two nights ago Molly."

"Me too! I'd have felt like I was going to fall onto the stage all night. We will be more careful tonight only water, pot, and pizza for us without, "Purple" mushrooms either for a bit!"

We sat and chatted with our neighbors for a bit and shared a joint down the filling row. Four of the rugby team passed by including the winner of the meatball contest.

Awesome sandwiches man he shouted down from the top, which was followed by a mighty meatball, Jack Daniels, and Budweiser belch, that had just about all the area turning towards the sound, as it bounced off the rafters.

"Fucking A!!" He shouted, with a see you tomorrow for more Lou.

As Lou thought, his customers night was not going to be pretty if he found arena beer and thankfully, he was three sections away. I didn't want to see how that will end!!!!

While Lou was concerned, he had poisoned his customer with forty-eight meatballs, Molly was almost pissing her pants, splitting her side, laughing from the belch she almost felt through the seat. "I have to go Lou before I pee in my pants!" Molly headed for the restroom, returning with two slices of pizza and a soda for them to share.

"Too fuckin funny!" was all she could say until she was done with her slice.

The show was awesome as most were. Even when the music was not perfect, most all knew that each one was a unique experiment in music, and no two were ever truly the same. The Love, Magic, Music, and Fellowship which surrounded you in there was what made each show such a great experience for many. It was the music which joined all in this great circle, but it was all there that made the love and magic, with the music.

They saw Joe and Star at the break, and all were having a great time. Dancing in time with thousands on some songs you could feel the aging arena bounce with the beat. It had survived the Flyers fans, so this crowd was now real big deal for the building. Much less blood on the floor after!

Most of the set was filled with happy tunes to dance to and both were tired and footsore by the Dylan cover for a closer. They'd been going nonstop since 6AM

The show ended and Molly and Lou made their way out chatting with Star once they caught up with her and Joe until they all could break free from the crowd. All were going to try for as quick an exit as they could manage and made plans to meet at a Restaurant near the area half an hour before the lot opened. Lou said if they saw Ed and Val and anyone else, they knew they would tell them as they headed to their vehicles.

Molly saw them and ran up telling them what the plans were as all were hurrying in the forty-five-degree drizzle. Lou grabbed four more real good grill cheeses from vendor under a Canadian flag.

When they were approaching Andromeda, they saw the car in front of them getting ready to pull out to a gate a hundred feet away and just opening. They dashed into the wagon and were hot on their neighbors heels all the way out and on the road to the campground in ten minutes. A personal record for Lou of at least an hour getting out of a Dead show.

Molly fed chunks of grilled cheese to Lou, between bites of her own, while they finished off the last of their "arena refills". Molly let out her own version of a mighty belch and spoke. "You know in the end of it all I did not get even one meatball to eat. As Lou stopped at the last light she added, there is a least a tender and delicious sausage waiting for me to devour soon! YUM YUM!!"

Lou, playing fearful said, "No Biting! I don't want to be in tender bits!!"

"Coward!" Molly laughed and snorted as she got out our last joint from the show.

I pulled into the still very quiet campground and realized we had beaten most everyone out.

"Molly grab our towels please, while I turn around quick and we will have the showers to ourselves, as she was out the door and, in the tent, and back in seconds with our other shower stuff bag. You're fast!" She almost jumped back in as we got there while all was still quiet. Fifteen minutes later, both of us feeling refreshed we headed back to the tent as the caravan was now streaming into the lot.

"Lou, when we get to the tent can you get the chairs and one of the coolers while I set our home for the next two nights up some more. Have you heard anything about the weather for the next two days?"

"Someone said it would be nice and about seventy tomorrow then cool and rainy on Tuesday".

"Cool, I'll wear my favorite skirt tomorrow if it is warm enough. Sounds like jeans and sweater after. I want sunny California, soooon!!"

Lou got the stuff while Molly got their four bags of clean cloths and stuff they had. I'd put the chairs and cooler/table where she wanted, and both went through the bags finding where April had put their clothes together. Molly unrolled their bed while Lou got their two other blankets. It would be chilly tonight. When Lou came in after getting the cookies from April, checking to see all was good around them Molly had put on the blue and orange skirt her mother had given her. It had a few worn spots and a hem repair or two, but it still looked awesome on her.

Molly had also put another old favorite tank top on, the closest thing she planned to wear to a bra 98% of the time, with one of Lou's large flannel shirts that draped loosely over her smaller shoulders unbuttoned. Two candles were lit on the top of the cooler with two cups of water, a joint, ashtray, and a plate of the homemade cookies from April and another joint was under them and a note.

Wish I was in the tent next to you with Randy!!! Enjoy all and have fun. Love Mom XOXO
