Parts of this chapter could be used as a tract to educate the institution that is the Church of England! I used to think that being disestablished, we in the Church in Wales were different. But alas! No. We are governed by those just as bigoted, narrow minded and hypocritical.

Another beautifully written, subtle chapter, Pixie. I loved the typo right at the end... 'I put my wine glass down and WET towards her..." Anticipation is such a wonderful aphrodisiac, don't you agree? 5 stars, as ususual, and as I anticipate chapter 4, I'll leave you to imagine my state just now!

There is much to say about this witty story, but the first thing that comes to mind is silly: uni-cum. You can't just have one.

No, Robin, you don't look like a female footballer in your dress and heels, but you sure can kick some balls. On a more serious note, the Spanish coach had to resign, but the American real-estate guy that did much worse is re-running for president, and this time he could really fuck things up.

How can a church even begin do regain some standing in a world full of double, triple, multiple standards?

By going back to the basics, caring for people like Reverend Robin does, instead of caring about people's sex lives.

Doing good and finding pleasure are not conflicting goals. A kiss from the right person at the right time can make everything right indeed.

Thank you so much, darling Amadeus. The churches managed to mess up their teaching about one of God’s gifts to us xxxxx

I love the topicality of your Robin stories, not just the reference to Ms Hermoso, but the not-so-sly reference to Viktor Orbán (I was young when I attended a Fidesz rally in 89 just after the collapse of Communism and got one of the 'Tovarische Adieu' tee shirts) it's been horrible watching the hopes and dreams shattered. I also regularly cook Paprikás - one of my favourites (I use the Hungarian cookbook by Gundel Karoly).

As for Jane, I love your approach - too often has it been lamented that the church is the only organization that shoots its own walking wounded. We need to do better, much better.

Last 4 short lines so rich; so full of meaning and feeling; more than just erotic but that too. Aside: your reference to the Apostle Paul, women and importance of context has some merit, though unsure about context myself. Given your egalitarian views you must be troubled by his writings viz. women and/or how some interpret. Pardon digression but love how you couple seamlessly thought and feeling.

Thank you so much, Avicia, for sharing, and I am glad that it brought back memories, and let us hope that those hopes are not forever shattered xxxxx

Thank you, MIgbird. Paul was writing as a man of his time about specific pastoral situations, and some have decided that those words have a more general application. My own church is, slowly, moving to a more sensible view. Thank you for taking the time and trouble to comment, I always appreciate it xxxxx

Dr B; Wonderful, you are just brilliant Pixie, an engrossing story as usual full of sharp, comments, just loved the one about being a Spanish footballer and I must agree about bacon, other meat is yuck, but bacon, well it makes up for just about everything. As usual five from me, your story of our randy Vicar, does not need sex scenes, the anticipation leaves one moist and please don't leave us waiting too long for chapter four. Now an update on my HPV battle, my late half-term before I retire at Christmas was a bit worrying, I had a `smear' test and the result is not good, I've been booked in for a complete hysterectomy next weekend, so all I now need is an anal cancer and I will complete the set. Please, ladies learn from me, do not ignore advice you receive from your medical team, get your children vaccinated ( both boys and girls) and if you can have it yourself and stay healthy.

Work-Life-Love balance is challenging. - It seems Robin has her priorities straight when it comes to that balance. The first priory was the refugee women: Check. The second priority was establishing the Rahab Centre: Check. The third priority was establishing a workable relationship with Jane for various important reasons: Check. And now, Robin has finally reached the point where she can prioritize her own personal wants and needs: Check. - Alice seems like the perfect guide to help Robin sort out and satisfy her desires. Although, I don’t get the feeling that Alice is "The One". (Maybe I’m wrong?) The hints that Robin still has feelings for Jane makes me think there is still some hope for our star crossed lovers. On a side note: That Viktor is loathsome. I worry that he will do more than just force an unwanted kiss on Robin. - And I don’t rust his offer of sanctuary for the women like IIona. Obviously, the next chapter can’t arrive soon enough for my satisfaction. 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿

... a great chapter, again - I so agree with what was said "...sounded like Viktor's lot ..." (unbelievable-women might have own desires?) At least your Anglican Church got a bit further along than my Catholic Church 🙈 ... and yes, there are those moments when we know why we are doing what we are doing ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and looking forward 😊 LisaR.

Thank you so much, Anon - yes, Viktor is not to be trusted - and it remains to be seen whether a busy vicar and a busy and ambitious MP can really find the time and space they need xxxxx

Pixie, you have a rare gift, but so many including myself have told you this over and over again. Please don't become bored with it.

I so do enjoy the way you weave your storylines, to keep us involved and guessing. In some cultures where the patriarchal figure reigns supreme, a so-called Alpha male doesn't see the fault in making demands on a woman and expecting her to not only be compliant but to even enjoy such encounters. The concept of a woman loving another woman is as foreign to them as anything can be. I look forward to seeing how our Rev takes the lead and explains the niceties of a free and libertine society to Viktor.

I am so engrossed with this story, and it would be very easy for me to start it all again and read it through non-stop.

Thank you. 5 stars.

Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🙏 to Pixie & June from Across the Pond

Dear Pixie & June,

Each year, for the most of us, we gather together with family👨‍👩‍👦👨‍👩‍👧👨‍👨‍👧👨‍👨‍👦👩‍👩‍👧👩‍👩‍👦👩‍👦👩‍👧👨‍👦👨‍👧 and friends👫👭👬👩🏽‍🤝‍👩🏽👩🏾‍🤝‍👩🏼to give thanks for being able to enjoy this Thanksgiving holiday. We also give thanks and prayers 🙏to those that cannot be with us due to serving in the Military, away at school, living across the miles, and to our deceased loved ones.

However, one couple 👭, across the ocean, does not celebrate the American Thanksgiving holiday, but they give so much of themselves, so we can enjoy them both, via their Literotica works, their forums, and their chatroom.

So, at this Thankful time of the year, I personally want to thank Pixie and June for providing us with your Love, your Devotion, and your Selfless service in every way. Because, this world, and the LGBTQ + universe / community will be a sad place without Pixie & June.

In closing, I wish both Pixie and June Excellent Health, a Great Future, a Wonderful Marriage, with Love 👩‍❤️‍👩💖💗, and Happiness 😃Forever & Always.

How Do You Feel About the CofE decision on LBGTQ Marriages Pixie?

Dear Pixie,

First, Pixie, congratulations on the Archbishop of Canterbury abstaining his vote, that allows the Church of England (CofE) to perform rings, priestly blessings and prayers for LGBTQ marriages. Sadly, the CofE will not recognize LGBTQ marriages due to creating a civil war, within the CofE, due to the Archbishop of Canterbury, and others within the CofE, condemning LGBTQ marriages.

Few people know, when Thomas Jefferson (Third President of the United States) wrote the Declaration of Independence, he placed the following passage: "He has waged cruel war against human nature itself, violating its most sacred rights of life & liberty in the persons of a distant people who never offended him, captivating & carrying them into slavery in another hemisphere or to incur miserable death in their transportation thither."

John Adams (Second President of the United States) fought to keep this passage into the Declaration. Unfortunately, by congressional rules, all Thirteen Colonies must vote “Yae” or “Abstain,” in order for the Declaration, and the vote on Independence to pass. Sadly, our deep southern states treated slaves as property and vowed to vote “Ney” on Independence, if the “offensive” passage remained in the Declaration. So, Benjamine Franklin (Inventor, Statesman, and Ambassador) persuaded both John Adams and Thomas Jefferson to omit the passage and stay focused on the goal of independence. Then of course, 90 years later, our civil war erupted due to “states’ rights,” with “slavery” being the key issue.

In no way, there will be bloodshed within the CofE. However, the Archbishop of Canterbury knows that splitting the church alienates the church members, and; ultimately, ruins the church. Just look at the Catholic Church, for they again voted “No,” on allowing Women to be priests, which the Pope demoted a United States Cardinal, and demoted a United States Archbishop. Now, the Pope has the whole country of Germany, that wants Women ordained as Priests, but also requests Marriage Ceremony rights for the LGBTQ + community, pushing back at him. Perhaps, in Germany, St. Hildegard of Bingen, who, long ago, publicly criticized the church, influenced this German pushback. I believe, one, far away day, the Catholic church will ordain women as priests and perform full LGBTQ+ marriages.

So sad, that a compromise means no one gets what they truly want, but I believe, within your lifetime Pixie, full LGBTQ+ marriages will be the norm within the CofE. I hope I live to see that day, via pictures, of the formal marriage of Pixie Peters and June Peters. For no two people, deserve the full sacrament of marriage, then Pixie & June.

Rest assured Pixie, that Forever & Always, this will always be my Ultimate Christmas ⛪✝🎄 wish 🌠 to you both.

Thank you Classic Jeff - the C of E does not reach decisions, it fudges them. ++Cantuar needs to try to keep everyone happy, and that is not possible. We can now bless same sex couples if the vicar decides to - so it is going to happen. I would not hold my breath for the Catholic Church xxxxx
