Roommates Snow Saga Concludes

"And you kept my necessities out to go in my suitcase, right?" She asked.

"Can we get back to packing please! You two were having fun while I was working!" I said.

We finished packing and shipped everything out. The next day the three of us flew back home.

OUR HOUSE

Pam couldn't believe how nice our house was. We set her up in the largest guest room and Ted told her she was welcome to change anything she wanted. She had unlimited access to my credit card for any furniture or clothing she might need.

Pam got settled in and quickly became part of the group with me and Jen. They remembered each other a little from High School, but since Pam was three years older than us, they didn't really hang out.

Good luck struck when both girls found out they were pregnant. Sometimes I felt like the third wheel, because I wasn't going through what they were. I didn't really care too much, because my Sister was doing this huge favor for me and Ted and I was happy that Jen was so happy.

EPILOGUE

The babies were born three days apart. Jen had a baby girl and Pam gave birth to our son. There's already talk of the kids getting married!

Pam lived with us for another year and loved being an Aunt. She eventually met her own doctor and they got married.

Ben and Jen haven't stopped and have four kids already.

Ted wanted another baby and he insisted that I be the sperm donor this time. He didn't care if the baby wasn't part of him. He wanted me to have one that was actually mine. We went the traditional surrogate route and I didn't mind that it was done through artificial insemination.

A year later my son was born and Pam had her first son too. Our kids were already unofficial cousins with Ben and Jen's kids, but now they had a blood cousin.

What started as an arrangement during a blizzard turned into three loving families. Thank God for Snow!

BEHIND THE SCENES

Here's a couple of things you might find interesting about the series (or not!)

- I am more like the Ben or Ted characters. I find it fun and challenging to tell the story through the Nicole character's eyes.

-I blew the window in the last chapter and forgot that Jen and Ted were engaged at one point. Luckily everyone else forgot too, because nobody mentioned it. I'm not too proud to admit I made a mistake.

-I always have problems coming up with names and I try to stick with very short names (Ben, Jen, Ted, Al and Tara), because they're easier to type. I read a story the other day and the characters were named Alexandra and Stephanie and I was wondering how much of a pain it was to type those over and over.

-The short names can cause a problem because they're easy to mix up. In one of the stories I mixed up Ben and Ted and that one someone pointed out.
