He threw a glance at me then. "What are you lying to me about then Riya? I know you are. Just tell me whatever it is. I won't be able to rest in peace."
He wasn't going to let it rest. I bit into my lip.
"You can tell me anything. You know that, don't you Riya?"
I nodded tears threatening to fall from my eyes.
"Ma knows." I spoke above a whisper.
"About what?"
"About us."
"What? When? How?"
He stood from the bed.
"Where is she now?"
"Downstairs."
"When did she find out?"
"While we were having sex." I answered guiltily.
"And you're telling me now." He bellowed striding out of the room.
I caught up with him at the top of the stairs.
"No, stay in your room," he commanded. "I'll talk to her myself."
And there it was, for the second time in my life, I was again the third person in the family.

However, 'cunt' is not usually a loving term, and I don't think it worked well here where you were trying to convey the special feelings between these two.
