A nicely written story that brought back some pleasant memories of an evening long, long ago, when I visited a Domme in SoCal. She had two baggie with slips of paper in them. One was a list of erotic tortures, the other a set of numbers. I got to select one from each baggie, which defined what she would to do me and for how long (e.g., flogging me for x minutes) or how many (e.g., putting x clothespins on me). Lather, rinse, repeat.
