"No of course not, we're good. That one was better than last year."
"Good," she grinned. "Because I think we all now have a pretty good guess what took you so long to get out of bed this morning."
I smiled as my daughter led me to the door. "Let's just keep that between ourselves. Your mother may not enjoy knowing that."

This story was originally a much shorter story, it was part of the 750 Word Project where all stories were required to be exactly 750 words long. One of the 750 authors suggested a project where we take one of our 750-word stories and expand them, and this is my expanded version of 750-1 Saturday Morning.
Excellent story flow and mechanics (grammar, spelling, and punctuation with clear word choices) made this a joy to read. The story had charm about it that made the characters come alive. Well Done!
