And I learned a fair bit going from the earlier stuff to the later parts! @Anon I agree wholeheartedly and I think that, going forward, rape is too tricky a tool to work into a story that's kind of romantic as this one is. But all these stories were ones that I started ages ago, as a "lesser" writer, and they suffer in the early parts because of it! But glad you like it <3 xoxox

Keeps getting better .the rape was worked in nicely .started rough ,but the rape was showing how fragile she was .he was the tough one to see through it.it was done really well.

To write stories like yours, I wonder if you were raped at one point and ended up falling in love with them. Or maybe your parents didn't hug you as a child. Which is it?

It's neither, too. I'm just genuinely curious about what's your damage and why it got that way. Did someone let you fall on your head accidentally? Were you involved in an car crash or a similar event that caused a serious concussion? Maybe a small tumor that ate away a very specific part of your brain? Or something else? This is a lovely story. It'd be marvelous if this became successful enough to flesh out into a full romantic novel. I'd just like to see a bit more of the everyday interaction between Jake and Sephy, they're very cute
