I think its completly unfair how everyone guilttripps steven becouse he hurt kittens feelings while doing the right thing, and she is allowed to completly steamroll over him and his physical and emotional wellbeeing wirhout so much as a slap on her wrist.

Steven's reaction and actions he took for Gena's safety and sanity still appear to be correct. Kitten wanted Gena as a slave but appears to not care about Gena and her father's child. Kitten is a loose cannon and needs to be managed just like Kitten needs tio be managed. Although everyine badgers Steven, he is still the only direct male heir in this series. If Steven leaves or should die before mating Kitten, what happes to the "family"?
