One of the BEST that I have read on this site. Excellent story and writing style. I have read this three times and will definitely come back many more times. Thanks.
This has been my third read and I still love it! It's in my favorite list amongst other. I would give it 6 stars if possible.
HOME RUN! Outstanding!

I had read this story some time ago. It still got me on the 2nd or 3rd read...forget which. I enjoyed all of the stories that you have posted here. They're an easy read and all of them have a warm feeling to them along with an interesting story line. Thanks for posting.
First time reading this Author and thoroughly enjoyed this story. Very nice plot and very well presented. 5*s.
This wonderfully romantic piece of writing deserves an award on so many levels, fantastic story line, great characters, nice, creative flow - like first love romance to marvelous, earth-moving climax in words I tell you...!
(10/21/2021) Nicely done, very well thought out, very funny and of course very romantic. 5 stars of course. I wish I could give this narrative more.
This story is great by itself, but even more so beings I recognize the locations. I've lived in the PNW my whole life and have visited Victoria a number of times. Have loved it each time. I was wondering if the slide you referenced had a real life counterpart, such as the Oso disaster. Regardless, I enjoyed the story on all levels
Just as happy and warmed as the other times I have read this delightful romantic story. Great characters with such endearing charisma. I hate that there is no more to read every time I get to the last paragraph.
Super well written story by a fabulous story teller. Thanks for sharing your work with us. John
An absolutely lovely and sweet romance, never though Jill was that devious about getting together with him.
too few conflict,
sweet and heartwarming, but borung without (few) conflict
She's written as a really nice, principaleled, intelligent, loving woman, but even when a woman is that good I have and still d HATE all the game playing and trickery.
Spot on to place this story in the Romance category--which, unlike any other category does not require conflict, only the eternal dance. Found the character development to be brisk and to stay "in character" as the plot developed. As to criticism about Jill's behavior having a note of questionable subterfuge?
SHE'S A WOMAN FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, AND ONE WITH A MISCHIEVOUS SENSE OF HUMOR.
N'uff said.
Loved it. Kudos and MORE PLEASE! 10 out of 10.
Excellent stuff. Some of us wee males are a bit dense when it comes to the other softer, beautiful gender. I was, still am in a way, and lost the first love of my life as a result.
Happily together now with my main love of my life, but a long time finding her.
Will keep reading the rest of your offerings in due course.
Regards

This story is well written and fun. You did a great job of making lawyers seem like real people.
Wut are you thinking? Of course the women are plotting together. Like a pod of whales or a Parliament of owls, a group of women is a conspiracy- and it only takes 4 breasts to make a quorum. "I'll answer that question, your Honor. No, we are not in a sexual relationship. I'd describe it more as the most-passionate-in=the=history=of=mankind relationship. A gotta-be-
a-dream relationship, because no woman who's even smarter than she is beautiful could possible be interested in a guy like me. The certainty that one morning, I'll wake up dead; that's when, not if. A death-do-us-part relationship- where I'm dragged away kicking, screaming and flailing my elbows, buying time for my attorney to file an injunction. She is that good... Now my secretary of five years is threatening to quit; I'm stomping around the office like a bear with hemorrhoids because I can't talk, email, text or even slip her a note in study hall until this trial is over. The closest I've been to her is when she's in here trying to make me look stupid. I'm a guy, so- yeah. But engineering is something I'm good at- also sailing, cooking, giving back rubs and a host of lesser talents. I can't even get my back cleaned properly, and before you suggest 'back scrubber', do you really want to suggest that she can easily be replaced by a mechanical device? Remember, it goes both ways... and makes for a bad precedent." five stars

EXCELLENT.
A fun story with good characterisation and descriptions. Well worth reading.
What a wonderful, loving and funny story. Very well written and a pleasure to read. Five stars and thanks.
This has been one of my favourites for several years and I can't help but keep coming back to it. Thank you for such a delightful story.
Romance stories should be like this, without all the usual bs and drama...11/10.
Intellectually it was a refreshing romance.
Not unlike a Tracy and Hepburn film.
Nice presentation.
Wonderful story and a great Romance. Well written with a classic overall feel. Thank you so much, this is a Keeper. 5* and I'll read it again a few dozen times!
I see that you've gotten 152 comments before mine, so I'll keep it brief. Loved it!
5 stars and a favourite. It's a beautiful story and makes for a great read.
I’ll be one of the first to admit I have no idea what goes on in the mind of a woman. If that makes me dense and clueless, so be it. It don’t bother my pride none.
