What a cliffie!! Not fair to let us wait right when what we have waited for is about to happen 😅 I love the slow build-up between them. And I also wonder about their parents...what's the deal with them? Somehow I don't see them as being horrified about Shawn and Kendalls relationship. 🤔

Excellent! The one and only complaint I have pertains to:

"This is a date, you weirdo!" Shawn called out, shaking her playfully in his grip."

Shawn is frequently addressing Kendall with "weirdo" and "goober". Trust me, I get it. Siblings do that kind of stuff all of the time. But I feel like that you're overdoing it in your dialog. Consider this; Shawn has been pining for Kendall for years and years now. He's finally reached the point where she's reciprocal and returning his feelings. Don't you think that his attitude and manners are going to be influenced by this change in their dynamic? 🤔

He'll consciously work to keep up appearances in front of the parents and other people. But I feel that when they are alone that he would dial back the negative appellates and show her more kindness and respect out of his love for her. 5/5

I do find it weird that they confessed a second time, after all the sexual stuff, kissing and cuddling. Writing oversight???

This is an amazing story. I cannot wait for the next chapter. Many years ago I had a step-sister just 4 years younger than me. This is a great series, which I only saw because Ch. 16 dropped. 5 stars.

ScottishTexan, you are right. The ultimate in true love can only come when there is 100% mutual respect between lovers, and that includes put-down names fading away.
