MORE

I look every day to see what the Silver Arrow story has to say. So please try and continue with the family and their trials and tribulations as they mature and take over more of the running of the farms. 5+ Thank you for your story so far. Iceman

Definitely a great series, still....

Diane's character development left LOTS on the table...there's probably an entire additional story waiting to be told. Hard to believe she didn't have a whole other life dictating abandoning her husband and planning clandestine meetings. Also seemed like Claire had at least some involvement that drove her agenda.

Ah the end

Talk about a story that went up and down dale, all around several mountains with more twists and turns than carter has liver pills, this is it. I wished the author would write another chapter or two moving this story on into the future several years.

Five Stars all the way!

Steve has written a really great tale this time! I thought it was one of his best submissions.

Structure

This is well written in many ways but I felt that the story was poorly structured.

You could sense the author getting bored or running out of ideas and so resorting to bringing a new scenario and a different bunch of characters rather than resolving the existing plot lines.

The death of Diane was never properly resolved and the ends tied up, a mysterious half brother suddenly appearing out of nowhere, nor the actions of Christie turning down his proposal so she could find true love and have children and later then said to be “ not really looking” .

I suspect the author doesn’t spend much time up front planning his stories and lets the plots evolve a he goes along, so it ends up a bit rambling. A good editor could sort this and it could have been half the length and a much better read.

Great love story. In the course of the story the drama and love story kept you wanting more. I love how the author took Doug an obese man (his own fault by his own omission) who was divorce by his wife to his almost demise in a accident to recovery and discovery of almost rebirth losing the weight then a happy reconnection and remarriage to his loving wife of 10 years to her murder mystery by her brother. Then Christie a second love that went no where to his meeting of Rose, the second love of his life that ended in that happily ever after. In whole the story, was well written and had great character development, Well done coaster2. 5+ stars

well done

I read the whole novel in one go, so I'm not sure if anyone commented on the recognizing "the walk" on the cctv camera. A famous former high ranking cop in Sydney Australia, Roger Rogerson was identified that way for a crime. Even though he could only be seen from the back, one of the investigating detectives immediately recognized him from the way he walked on a cctv video from nearby the crime scene.

Good story but too many loose ends and plot holes to be 5 star.
