"Oh please," she gasped, "I had you wrapped around my finger as soon as you heard my high heels clicking down the sidewalk, and even more when you got a good wiff of my perfume," she boasted.

"I don't know," I rebutted, "I remember a particular person, whose name I won't mention, pleading and begging for me to squeeze something harder, and, oh, what was it? Oh yeah, do it harder and not to stop."

"Michael!" she gasped in surprise, "I did not!"

"Hmm, I don't recall saying it was you," I grinned.

"Oh, oh you... You are in sooo much trouble; you just wait until we get home," she giggled while swatting my arm.

If trouble was what I had gotten into from Marlene when we got home, I should have gotten into it a lot sooner in our relationship!

**********

Thursday, September 15Th, 2016 was a beautiful, breezy day in southern New Jersey and the greater Philadelphia area. Labor Day had quickly come and gone, officially ending summer as we knew it. Our neighborhood was quiet, empty of the screaming children as they neared their second week of school. Misty quickly jumped from her sleeping position as the screen door slid open and Marlene stepped onto the deck. There was absolutely no way she would reach me on the chaise lounge without having to acknowledge Misty first. I listened as Marlene laid her mug on the deck and fussed over the black hairy affection hog. I thought back as the two played together, and realized I never heard my beautiful Marlene ever come close to slighting Misty in the least. She never uttered a negative syllable to the four legged con artist, yet alone anyone. She was the most caring, compassionate, understanding person I had ever met yet alone love with my very heart. The unselfish and unforsaken love she had for me, I sincerely hope, would be returned with our wedding and reception the following evening. I heard Marlene grunt as she raised to her feet. Misty shook as she always did when rising. As her tags jingled, a pair of very soft lips pressed against me.

"Good morning, Handsome, it's beautiful out here," she said with a smile to her voice.

"Hey, old girl, how are you this glorious day?" I asked with a grin.

"Old girl?" she incredulously asked.

"Sounds like you were having a bit of trouble getting up from the deck a few seconds ago," I commented, holding the grin on my face.

"You're going to have a problem getting off of that lounge chair if you don't watch yourself!" she giggled while leaning over and giving me a second good morning kiss.

"Geez, not even married yet, and you're handing me threats," I laughed.

"Well, Two mornings from now and my threats will be official!"

"Can you believe it?" I asked, "Can you believe how fast the time has gone? Tomorrow we'll officially be one forever!"

"Michael, I know; it all seems like a blur. I just can not believe how my life has changed, and it is all because of you. You have made me whole again; you have given me the ability to feel love and give love in return. We'll be together for the rest of our living days."

I took Marlene's hand and pulled her down to me.

"Handsome, watch out, I have my coffee," she giggled.

I released her hand and heard the heavy mug slide onto the plastic table before Marlene's weight settled into me. Holding her head tight against my chest, I felt her body release any tension she was carrying. Stroking her hair tenderly,it gave me great joy to feel Marlene nuzzle her face into my chest until it found the perfect spot. The sound of the chirping birds, an occasional passing car, and a distant lawn mower filled the lovely September morning.

"Marlene Dalton, Mrs. Michael Dalton, Mrs. Dalton" I whispered while continuing to run my fingers through her hair.

I instantly felt her cheeks rise against my chest as the picture of her wide smile flashed in my mind.

"Mr. and Mrs. Michael Dalton," she replied in tears.

"Sweetheart, it doesn't sound that bad," I chuckled as I grabbed her sides and gave her a tickle.

"Stop, Michael, I'm crying because it is so beautiful," she giggled while twisting from my assault.

"Is there anything we might have missed?" I asked, still laughing as Marlene gasped for a breath of air.

"No," she giggled, "Everything is good with Jessica and the Franklin Institute, the DJ is paid and will be at the rehearsal tonight, we have our dresses and will be getting our hair done tomorrow."

"That's good... I have my suit cleaned and pressed, Jim and Matt are set and will be there tonight too," I said while thinking of other things; "The flowers will arrive at your mom's tomorrow around noon, the photographer will be there around three o'clock, you're set for my blow job tonight before we go to bed, the caterer is paid, the limo will pick you girls up by five, table settings are finished, and breakfast at the diner is set for tomorrow morning before you girls leave to get your hair done. Can you think of anything else?"

"No, I think... Hey Pal, what was that about a blow job?" she asked in a surprised laugh.

"My blow job... I was thinking maybe ten or ten thirty tonight; does that work for you?" I nonchalantly asked.

"I'll give you a blow job, Buddy Boy. Maybe I'll just bite it off instead!" she giggled as she wiggled on top of me.

"Yikes, this marriage stuff is tough!" I laughed as I squeezed her tight.

"Did you remember to write your vows?" she asked.

"Not yet, I figure I'd have a few free minutes tomorrow."

"What?" she gasped, "Are you serious?"

"What? It's just a couple of words and maybe a few lines; what's so difficult about that?" I asked with a smirk on my face.

"Oh my god, Michael, I am so going to put a hurtin on you..."

Our wedding coordinator, Jessica Monroe was waiting for us when we arrived that evening for rehearsal. We had picked up our mothers before driving into the city and we welcomed them to join us in Jessica's office. Accepting our invitation, the four of us gathered around Jessica's desk and waited for her to begin the final check list. She welcomed us to sit down in her office before painstakingly combing through every detail for the following days wedding. While showing her total professionalism, she couldn't help to hold back her undeniable excitement. "You know, guys, I have planned countless wedding ceremonies here over the years, but I can't honestly say, I am super excited and more happy to have planned this as I have ever been. The two of you are such unbelievable people, and have been nothing but a pleasure to work with. You both are so much in love, and everyone around here can see it! You are going to have such a great life together!"

Marlene squeezed my hand tight as we thanked her, all five of us leaving the office with huge smiles on our faces. We met Marjie, Dianne, Matt, and Jim in front of the planetarium doors. The minister arrived some ten minutes later, apologizing profusely for her tardiness. Jessica asked if we were ready and opened the doors. Audible gasps immediately followed as what I was soon told, the ceiling of the planetarium being filled with the night sky.

"My God, it's stunning!" I heard Dianne exclaim in a clear, but shaky voice.

"Marlene, Michael, it is so beautiful," Mrs. Cassidy whispered.

"Shall we begin?" Jessica asked with a smile to her voice.

**********

The rehearsal went relatively well as laughter, tears, and a combination of the two echoed throughout the large room. We did a trial run through, changed a few things as to Jessica's suggestions, and tried it again, more satisfied the second time around. The minister explained how the ceremony would proceed as me and Marlene stood together. We had already advised her we would be making up and reading our vows to each other. After being pronounced husband and wife, the wedding party, along with our mothers, would join us where we stood, creating a reception line were everyone could greet us.

We made one last run through, and called it quits. Marlene and the girls gathered and excitedly spoke, soon joined by the two mothers. I felt a hand grasp my elbow, "Michael, it was absolutely stunning; we had a run through this afternoon, and I have to tell you, there wasn't a dry eye in the place," Jessica tearfully whispered in my ear.

"Thanks, Jess, so it went well?" I asked in a smile.

"Stunning, absolutely stunning," she said as she gave me a quick hug.

"We are gathered here this wonderful evening to bare witness where two people, two lives, two hearts, but more importantly two souls, free and of there own mind, will become one. We will witness a love between two beautiful people which had a wonderful and telling beginning, but will have no end. We will witness two broken paths, ones with heart ache and heart break, mental and physical anguish, with acceptance and trust enough to fall so deeply in love, a love so true to bring them together tonight and profess before every one of us."

We stood, me and my beautiful Marlene, under a gorgeous Super Harvest Blood Moon, our fingers entwined, shaking, sweating, overly anxious to say the very words which would bind us together as husband and wife.

**********

The rehearsal dinner was light and filled with vibrant conversation. The girls were absolutely glowing with happiness, highly anticipating the following days events.

"Michael, are you ready?" Dianne asked as she approached from behind my chair.

"Sweetie, I only wish it were tonight, but yes, I am so very much ready; how 'bout you?"

"Oh my God, I am so excited and can't wait! You guys are going to make the perfect couple! Well, you already are, but just the same, as husband and wife, it will make everything so much better," Dianne replied.

She wrapped her arms around me, squeezing me tightly. My neck divided her large, soft breasts, resting on my shoulders as I leaned my head back. I felt her lips tenderly kiss my forehead as she told me how much she loved me, and how she admired my strength. I thought how much Dianne had grown and broken away from the low self esteem issues she had suffered. She had grown as a confident woman, professional, overall warm person who had learned to laugh, confide in others, and deal with the horrible life she left behind.

"I love you too," I smiled in return, "You always have a shoulder to lean on," I laughed as I patted the breast which had settled on my left shoulder.

"You are so bad," she laughed, "But, I'll certainly remember that!"

The remainder of the evening was filled with stories of me and Marlene's youth; our moms often embellishing the actual truth. The night ended with hugs, kisses, well wishes, and "See ya tomorrow" endings.

**********

"This will be the last time we make love as single people," Marlene whispered in my ear as she gently and lovingly road me.

"Mmm, yes, I guess it will be," I moaned while appreciating the feeling of her softness enveloping me; "Well, not unless I can persuade you for another round tomorrow morning!"

"Nice try, Handsome," Marlene giggled, leaning forward and smacking my face with her breast, "You're cut off 'til tomorrow night!"

We made love, exchanging tender kisses, changing positions, bringing each other to orgasm, and falling asleep in each other's arms.

Breakfast the next morning would be the last time I would see her until we would meet together before taking our final walk to the minister.

**********

My brother-in-law Matt, and my best friend Jim along with myself, were dressed and ready in a solitary room close to the planetarium doors.

"What time is it?" I nervously asked.

"A quarter to seven," one of the guys answered, not actually knowing which one to this very day.

"OK, ten more minutes; we have to meet at the doors in ten minutes," I reminded them as I stood, then returned to my seated position and bounced my knees up and down.

"Holy fucking shit!" I heard Matt whisper.

"What?" Jim and I asked in unison.

"Dianne and Marjie, holy fuck, they're stunning," Matt replied, his voice stammering as he spoke.

Jim raced to the door where Matt was looking, very quickly followed by his agreement with Matt's observation. I could just imagine Dianne and Marjie, both exquisite in their steel blue, tea length dresses, perfect in all aspects as they readied themselves by the doors, awaiting our arrival.

"Ready, Dick head?" Matt asked as he rested his large hand on my shoulder, "It's time for us to go."

I could no longer feel my legs beneath me as we left the room and approached the girls. I held onto Matt's elbow, my hands trembling along the way.

"Oh my God, Michael, you look amazing!" Marjie whispered as she greeted me with a big hug.

"Thank you, Sweetie, and you? Can I take a look-see?" I asked.

Marjie gently took my hand and traced it down her body, beginning with her newly finished hair, down to the high heels which matched her gorgeous dress. Of course, she made sure to show me the attributes which further enhanced the beauty of her dress. Dianne, not to be outdone, guided my hands to herself, replicating the very manner as Marjie, beginning with the vast head of blond curls, drawing my fingers over the painted full lips of her face, over the expanse of her firm breasts where she pressed my hands into for a glorious feel of her enlarged nipples, finishing over her tight ass and down her long legs to the same four inch heels as Marjie. My head was spinning as I complimented the girls to their utter beauty.

"You haven't seen anything yet, Michael; wait until you get a look at your future bride; she is absolutely stunning," Dianne tearfully mentioned as she fixed my hair to her liking.

"Holy fuck!" Matt whispered as the foyer grew suddenly silent.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Oh my God, she is absolutely gorgeous," Marjie whispered in a shaky voice.

As I would soon discover, my beautiful Marlene was accompanied by her partners, Ed O'Neil and Janet Hartgrove. Matt placed his hand on my shoulder to steady me as the nerves suddenly regained their hold on my body.

"You my man, are the luckiest fucker to be placed on this very earth," he announced as the group watched Marlene being led across the large entrance.

"Michael," Ed began in the happiest of voices, "May I present our Marlene to you; our beautiful girl, our loving partner, our trusting, compassionate, loving daughter."

"And to you, our ever loving, kind, caring, Michael, we give to you the love of your very life... Our gorgeous Marlene. We trust in you to care, comfort, and love her with all of your heart," Janet finished while wiping a tear which had trickled down beneath my glasses.

Matt took my hand and held it out. A feeling of warmth and the softness of silk gently accepted it.

"Hi, Handsome," Marlene whispered in a barely audible voice.

I felt as if we were meeting for the first time; maybe the night of a first date when in high school; maybe approaching her at a junior dance, where the boys stood on one side of the gymnasium and the girls grouped together on the other.

"Hi, Beautiful," I whispered in a quivering voice, "This is it I guess?"

"The moment we've been dreaming about for so long," she replied, her hand tightening around mine.

I lost track of all things surrounding us, and as if any other day, pulled her into me and hugged her tightly.

"I love you so very much, Marlene; you are my life," I whispered, "I will never stop loving you."

My hands rubbed the soft, feminine skin of the open back dress she wore, feeling her relax as they slid helplessly down to the small of her back.

"Easy there, Pal," Dianne interjected, "You two will have plenty of time for that later; we have a wedding to witness first!"

"You know, you're as bad as Misty," I said to Dianne with a smirk.

Marlene let out a loud giggle, plainly understanding my meaning of my cock blocking black Lab, who at this very moment, was most likely snoring away while she sacked out on the sofa at home!

"OK, guys, let's get this show on the road," a female voice said while approaching from our side.

Jessica, the wedding planner who had been working with us, readied us in the order we were to enter the planetarium to the waiting minister.

"You two look absolutely stunning!" she exclaimed as she fussed over us, taking a moment to brush a speck of dust from my sleeve; "I can guarantee who will be the next couple on the cover of our wedding brochure," she added with adoration in her voice, "With your approval of course!"

The sound of the door handles clicking echoed throughout the entry way, soon followed by the murmur of family and friends who were all seated, anticipating this very moment.

"OK, here we go everyone!" she excitedly said, "Knock 'em dead!"

The music exploded throughout the expanse of the open room; the thunderous solo piano beginning to the stunning Simon and Garfunkel song, "Bridge Over Troubled Water."

chills raced down my spine as the beautiful piano settled to a soft, eloquent whisper, thus signaling the start of the wedding party procession. As rehearsed the previous evening, Jim and Marjie led the way, greeted with a growing voice of approval from the reception crowd as the clicking sound of cameras followed.

"When you're weary, feeling small," began the melodic voice of Art Garfunkle.

Marlene led me a few steps forward as we held each others hands, our fingers entwined in a nervous, yet loving dance.

"When tears are in your eyes, I'll dry them all," his pitch perfect voice continued, these very words bringing us back to the first night we met when I kissed Marlene's tears from her cheeks as she sat, sobbing on my sofa.

Matt and Dianne left the two of us alone as they slowly entered the vast planetarium, again greeted with camera flashes from the photographer, and two hundred or so cell phones. So much for the one to one hundred and fifty guest we first estimated to Jessica during our first meeting!

Jessica approached us for the final time, adjusting my suit jacket before giving me a kiss.

"You're a very lucky man," she said with a smile, finishing off with a final brush of my lapels and adjustment to my tie.

Turning to Marlene, I guessed she touched up her hair, made similar adjustments to her dress, complimented her on her beauty, and wished her all of the love she could accept from an adorable man.

"I'm on your side, when times get rough..."

"What color?" I asked my beautiful Marlene.

"Michael, what? We have to go, it's time," she whispered.

"And friends just can't be found..."

"They can wait," I smiled, "Your dress; what color is it?"

I turned to face her, my hands now gracing the sequin fabric of her slim waist, and softly kissed her. I retreated with a smile, her glossy lipstick apparently smudged on me as her finger wiped it from my lips only to be wiped on a tissue which Jessica graciously held out.

"Like a bridge over troubled water..."

"What do you think?" she asked with a grand smile to her voice.

"I will lay me down..."

"That is all I needed to hear," I gleamed, "I'll feel what it looks like later, OK, Beautiful?"

"OK, Handsome, I'll show it to you in detail!"

"Like a bridge over troubled water, I will lay me down."

I turned, took the absolute love of my life's hand in mine, and we passed through the doorway together to the stunned silence of the crowd. The sound of cameras soon filled the room and sniffles grew as we slowly passed by, steadying each other with each step closer to the waiting minister.

"Like a bridge over troubled water, I will lay me down."

And as planned, a full, super moon began to rise before us against the vast, sixty foot planetarium dome. Our guests marveled at the display they were witnessing before them, and as we settled before our minister, the strings of the orchestra finalized the overwhelming love song.
