I would say yes to the editing but please keep writing your story. I don't get all the character's reasons for why they behave the way they do either yet but I hope I will as the story progresses.

Personally, I was excited by it! I loved the characters, the plot, everything. Sure, there were a few errors, but I saw the story as amazing. Great job, and would love it if you continued.

but it is worth continuing. However, do get an editor , at least for the misspelled words!
