This is a reality show where whatever is needed is provided by the camera crew. Opening a coconut is almost impossible without a strong blade, a flit is needed along with an igneous rock to start a fire, It takes a lot of palm leaves to make a cot, and a weapon is needed to kill and field clean a squirrel, it gets cold at night even on a tropical island and there is no way to stay warm without blankets. Everyone sleeping together would help along with a good thick palm branch(s). Anyway its a fun story but I'm not reading anymore. Good luck on the beach.

Interesting setup. I'll agree, the realism is pretty low. Some details like him always having a knife on him from having been in the army and being a park ranger would be a start. Finding some materials in the wreckage would also go a long ways towards some of it making more sense. Still, a decent setup for some various scenes. 4*
