Nÿte is a fantastic demon. I love the blend of menace and sadism with the beauty and almost gleeful delight at his fear. So many nice characterisations from the descriptions of her grand hall and throne with the skull piles to the little touches like Phil's skin blackening under her fingers or her prolonging the kiss on the other warlock's skull after he'd withered. When I read "The warlock was here for Nÿte" I chuckled, poor sod never had a chance.<BR><BR>

The balance and interplay of pain and pleasure in this story was very effective. I don't read a lot of S&M style stories but in what I have seen the scales are usually tipped too far one way for it to be interesting. Especially impressive was the climax, very powerful mixture of sensations, very well described.<BR><BR>

Also a number of interesting potential nods for the future. I too wonder what's behind the 'other closed doors. Did we have a first sighting of C?rµl?a? Or was it a clever subterfuge? It'll be very interesting to see when Phil next crosses paths with her. Phil has more choice in the situatioon he finds himself in than he realises? It will be interesting to see what that may mean. Phil is going to get to reverse roles with Nÿte? I bet he's got a lot of frustration and anger he wouldn't mind exercising.<BR><BR>

The last scene was excellent too. You have quite a talent for wrapping stories up with an amusing iamge.<BR><BR>

Don't like torture, but do like that the story is continuing. If I were him I'd stick with Verde from now on, beg to be her servant alone. Of course I keep worrying about Verde doing something to ruin her being my favorite character in this story. ^_^
