Oh my god this was such a sweet story. Your writing just keeps getting better. So good, I could almost taste the figs.
Yummy… I loved seeing Vic fumble in front of Emmy. Good job on this one.
A very enjoyable read with a bittersweet ending. The incurable romantic in me hopes that Veek and Emmi will be able to overcome the obstacles and share a life together. Thank you for sharing a lovely story.
Absolutely lovely, and filled with joy and hope. Very well done! Five stars from me.

Sequel!!! Sequel!!! Sequel!!! Seriously, could we please get a sequel??? Memories are no replacement for companionship. There is a way to make it work. I can totally see it. Vic and Emmi - together forever!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
You are my new favourite author. I loved the story of Suzy and Moriah. And so Ulus romantics would like part 2 please.
“Glad I Didn’t Die Before I Met You” was a wonderfully character driven pleasure through twists and erotic turns to the outcome we secretly knew would be. This piece simply speaks to your creativity. To say you created “another” character rich piece diminishes what you did here — language, dialogue, introspection, erotic moments moving toward the poignant parting. Not better, simply unique and beautifully romantic. Yes, I am a near hopeless romantic, so very hopeful. If no more, still painfully beautiful and so well crafted.
@JS60007 “ulus romantics” !! I am dead. That is hilarious. I’ve never seen that before! I don’t know about a sequel... The muses are silent on that front. I personally believe they ended up together, but not sure how.
I only commment on stories that touch me, this one was amazing. I haven't read your magnum opus about Suzy and Moniah yet but still think this one deserves a few sequels. A plus to those is there is drama in their long distance romance "as is" so they can't have a "lived happily ever after" -boring- sequel, mistakes lurk, hurt is in their future and an old fable of a girl that had to walk so far away that she ruined 7 pairs of iron shoes to get her true love back! I hope the metaphor helps unlock your muse. P.S the hottest their times together the hardest their parting feels! now I 'll go bake a nice fig cake and reminisce on how wonderful ficas taste!
Another sequel request here! Or could they just pop up as side characters in another story so we know it all turned out ok? X
