I hate freaking cliff hangers! Cliff hangers are the tool of a lazy or week writer. You are a far better writer than that.

I completely disagree with big dog, cliffhangers are NOT a sign of a weak ( not week by the way) writer but offer the reader a chance to reflect, to wonder, to guess what might come next. I thought this particular ending a good example.
