Generally, I feel that the semicolon is a much- neglected and very useful punctuation mark, and the use of it shows a writer of sophistication and discernment. So I'm really surprised to be saying that you massively over-use the semicolon in this story! I haven't read any of your others so I don't know how much of a habit it is. I know it's very easy to get into formulating sentences in a rhythm where they all come out in a two-part way, with a semicolon separating the parts. I know; I've often caught myself doing it!
But I do love this story. The writing is great (apart from the dreaded you-know-what) and the sex is beautifully described. Joan and Meghan's
personalities are not brought out in detail, but what comes over strongly is the sheer love and passion they have for one another. Beautiful. And very sexy.
Great story - flowed well - look forward to your next one!
