I liked the story, but didn't know where "Hunter" came from. Who was Hunter? David? The story itself could have used a proof reader or two to catch some of the spelling mistakes, and wrong word/tense usage. I don't understand why the husband waited another 3 months after the PI got all of the info and video they need for him to get custody, along with a payout from her company, especially since her boss and the CEO were doing her everyday. I'm surprised they didn't have multiple cameras in the room they were "meeting" in daily.

Pretty good entertainment. A story that is very often being lived. Many on the job affairs and when travel is involved it intensified 100 times. A large investment company a friend worked at described company functions as glorified orgies. Company had Apts in three major cities and was used every day as workers , most of the time higher ups to fuck coworkers. He described one of the female bosses as a gorgeous model type married e we it’s four kids as a woman who over the ten years he worked there has taken more dick than a porn star. He got his neighbor nephew a paid internship. The 20 year old fucked her teice a week but took her ass every time. The bragging going on also was crazy and he never could understand how none of them ever got caught.

Quite a refreshing read after so many thoroughly irritating & infuriating silly forays into nonsense that seem as if written by wank-happy ten-year-old boys who have only just discovered how to masturbate productively with their "massive" Ten-Millimetre-Micro-Dickies, but not yet being confident, nor proficient enough, to actually fuck yet themselves, knowing that they would likely ejaculate long before getting a purchase on even their own grossly inadequate equipment let alone coming face to face with an actual real-life Vulva!

So the best their real life sexual experiences can hope to manage at this pubescent stage is to fuck vicariously through the real-life experiences of another, who can actually DO the job in hand and who knows, perhaps even perform a couple of pumps in-and-out, before making an embarrassing mess in his underwear!

This was a far better, more satisfying, and far more true-to-life (albeit with a tiny-touch of literary enhancement to the drama, as one would expect)!

The only criticism that I WOULD raise is that IMHO, the last paragraph is dreadfully WEAK, almost apologetic! Sorry, but this IS really damaging, as it almost undermines the whole emphasis, and therefore WEAKENS the whole message of just HOW catastrophic her caustic actions where, and how deep, wide and long-lasting the toxic ramifications of such behaviours can be, rippling through time, and distance.

Try instead, something to solidly anchor it- e.g.-

"Revenge was sweet, but no amount of retribution would ever fully heal David's wounds. He still loved Kim, and probably always would! But he could never LIKE her anymore, not now he had learned the bitter truth of just how far she was happily able to abandon all commitment, all responsibility, and delve headlong into the deepest depravity, sheer selfish perverted lust! How could he ever trust his girls into HER care?

No, he never could FORGIVE her betrayal of not only him but, her own twin baby daughters too!

How could she? Nor would he never forget. Even if he could find it in him to forgive her betrayal of his love and devotion, and to somehow overlook her sustained deceit and duplicity, every time he looked at the girls he would be reminded of how little weight her family had accounted for in the scale of things when push came to shove!

It would be years before David would love and trust anyone again. For his sins, there would always be a corner of him that loved Kim, but by her actions it had morphed into hate! SHE had done that to him! Deliberately! Not a "Flash-in-the-Pan", not a drunken-fumble, pissed-at-a-party, nor `a one-off moment-of-madness'. No, this was far more than any passing hormone-flush, this was a cold, calculated, concerted planned, premeditated &, extended Campaign, a couple of hours or more virtually every day for a year culminating in four days solid fucking, back-to-back, gabg-banged spit-roasted and swallowing!

He could never forget how deeply she had hurt him, nor how cold, calculating, and proficiently, she had lied to him

The roots of the story are really good, but your continuously slipping between first person, second person, and third person makes it somewhat difficult to follow.

Keep writing, this one was good, and I really enjoyed it, but you have the potential to turn out something really great...

Female authors often miss this, but in addition to the betrayal aspect, 'sloppy seconds' is a major element of the disgust a man considers when dealing with a cheating partner. But then I am most concerned about the murder threat. Five years isn’t a very long time to get over his grudge if this CEO is as much of a vindictive scum ball as the story suggests. That leaves us a long way from “everybody lived happily ever after.”

However... everything was rote, mechanical, without nuance or feelings. You're doing this in third person, which is simple to describe things, but you need to consider the character's feelings.

This story touched on the cheating wife feelings, but her pain, her anguish, her shock, her agony, the emptiness... just didn't ring genuinely.

You have talent. I suggest you wallow in the agony of your feelings. Then express your joy. Describe those feelings in words. Next time, write an outline, briefly describe what each character does, then describe their feelings. Then write your story...

I loved the story, gave it 5stars. But, most places where you used ”weeks", put "days"; compact most of the timeframe. His anger, the evidence, professional PI, professional attorney; no of the events should have taken that long.

The author set it up fairly well, but lost the opportunity for a great confrontation between husband and wife. Hubby had all the evidence, why not continue as he had, slowly making her eat her words as the pictures, then videos came out, so that he could hear her rationalizations for her actions, so that the readers could see inside her head, make her explain herself. She claims to love him. How could she do that? It would be interesting to hear a rationale beyond, “I never thought you’d find out.” Hubby here was inarticulate, and wife never faced her lies head on, she was given consequences, but the consequences left the catharsis of the direct discussion and confrontation off the table.

As unsettling as the usual stories are, with the wife gradually seduced or beginning on her own to look outside the marriage while increasingly pulling away from her husband and children, I at least find them believable. This woman is incredibly manipulative and has no conscience. I suppose there are some number of psychopaths or sociopaths who might behave this way, but I can’t think they’re all that common.

Basic bitch is what Kim is. She cheated because she could, it 'excited' her. She is a simple cake eater. Even when shit hit the fan, her loyalty was still more towards her lovers than her husband. Her suicide attempts have NOTHING to do with the real regret and guilt that hurting others brings. No, her suicide attempt is more basic bitch stuff. But until they are treated in a divorce, the same as a man, and called out for their actions the same, the equality women seem to value so much, is just a sham. Please let me suggest two things that will, I believe, tighten up your story.

FIRST, referring to this quote from the story:

POINT 1: There is no marriage to save. He said so earlier. POINT 2: It is not rational, or perhaps, sane, to possess the feeling,,"I still love her." He can certainly love the illusion of what she once was but no one could like, trust or love a sexual sociopath. Nearly every LW writer uses that and doing so is foolish. Third POINT: Does anyone really believe he'd intercede on her sentence, or even could? Conspiracy to Comite Murder is a FELONY charge brought by the city or State and the issue rolls out according to those legal quidelines.

These are three, foolishly overused tropes that damage a good story when there is no need for it.

Last point. THIS WAS A GOOD STORY!
