My one bit of advice for British authors, if you are writing dialogue for American characters, use American slang. (ie. "ass" instead of "arse")
Its fine to use British slang for the British characters or in narration, but Americans don't use words like "tipple" when they speak.
PORN BUT a very enjoyable piece of porn. I think you know your target audience and you hit them right in the bullseye.
REGARDING MEHNTALITYβs comment about writing American dialogue for American characters. He/She is correct except in the early paragraphs of this story he says βLeaving my home country, the first place Iβd wanted to visit was the United States.β You canβt make it much clearer heβs not American. Itβs natural for him to say arse but for her to say ass.
AMERICAN writers and readers donβt make any allowance for stories set in other parts of the world or for non-American characters in stories set in North America.
IF IT AINβT American English then it ainβt rite! π
