This episode was actually thrilling. I expected the brother but should have reckoned on the age thing.

I also like how much of a grammar dick our "hero" is.

I appreciate how, unlike so many authors on this site, you take the time to subtly show the reader why the protagonist is an asshole. Lesser writers bend over backwards to justify their actions or simply make them cartoonishly evil. Giving your characters real personality truly adds to the effectiveness of the story. Great Work.

Great chapter. Really had me laughing. The protagonist is simultaneously sympathetic, an idiot and an asshole. Every fuckup just breeds more fuckups.
