What story? That was just a beginning. Where is the rest of it to make it a story.

Anxiously awaiting part two. Great start.

Hmmm, 'Alas Babylon' would be a great rrad, too. Not steamy, but enjoyable: similar.

I agree with other comments.Especially raraewriter.I thought I was the only one to LOVE, Pat Franks "Alas Babylon". Have read it over a dozen times in the past few decades.

More please, love a slow build up but please get to the taboo bits soon.

Not bad so far. I was tempted to count the number of times you began a sentence with 'Claire' or 'David.' Annoying. It's only Claire and David in the story - repeating their names in almost every sentence is unnecessary. Thanks.

That's a decent beginning. I'll be looking forward to reading the next installment. I'm guessing that you probably killed off Sylvia in the attack, but I hope that she survived somehow and that they can become a threesome. I guess that David and Claire will need to figure out how to farm that 10 acres that they are living on. 🤔 4/5

Great beginning! I am a fan of post-apocalyptic stories and love the build-up you have created. I have to rate this 4 Stars because of the lack of any real story substance as of yet. As they search around and begin to rebuild their lives, I am sure it will rate a 5. Can't wait for chapter 2.
