Lack of resolution makes this unsatisfying. We hear more about their conversation and self justification of the wife than we do any result of the exposure. And who was the shooter? 3

So the Sheriff's office knew what was going on via the video feed, but the Sheriff appeared to not know when he intercepted them? And no further explanation about the shooter?
