"Were you worried about her reply or mine?"

"How long can you make it worth my while, would have been my reply," Mike whispered back.

That was an interesting question to say the least. She was here and her husband was gone. Would he have the same thoughts about the bed if things were reversed? She was still mulling the questions over as she fell back to sleep.
