bummer

the ending sucked, lol. it was a bunker so there had to be a way to lock the door so it couldn't be opened from the outside and they would have been safe.the zombies only had motor skills so they were not able to think and figure out how to get in. the sex could have been more detailed. good idea for a storyline, but I think you could do a lot better with it. what happened to the other people on the bus, there is so much more you could have added to the story, way too short. 1 star

The story is told by an unreliable narrator who states that not much is known about the zombies. The characters don't know anything about the structural integrity of the bunker, why it was abandoned, or how it would hold up to a massive swarm of the undead, so neither do we.

There are two kinds of motor skills, fine and gross. Since they can run, bite, and lock in on prey, clearly they retained some degree of gross motor function and strength despite their physical deterioration. This allows them to get a feeding frenzy going and pull the door open with brute force.

I write minimalist short stories and serials so if that's not your taste, there are many talented authors on this site specializing in longform pieces who you can read instead.

Actually pretty good

But as bleak as The Road...

Not every zombie apocalypse story is going to have a happy ending and very, very few should or it wouldn’t be an “apocalypse”.

But:

” “I want to hear you come”, he said.

I come.”

I wish it was so easy, haha.
