While I have enjoyed reading all of the chapters I am disappointed that Paul is led around by the Countess and Bret like a pet on a leash. He is in control of nothing. Give him some balls!!

Pallet cleanser

I pictured someone scrubbing Ajax cleanser into a wooden pallet. I believe you meant palate cleanser.
