I agree with the other comment. I of course thought he was awful for what he did to her which is unforgivable. But, he is slowly becoming less hated. I do hope she gives him hell and makes him beg in the end. He deserves nothing less. That was some timing on his part to show up when he did.

and emotional! i love your story. i do hate it that he raped her in the first chapter, even though you made it look more like reluctance than rape. he is on a good way to redeem himself, just don`t make him do some awful things to her. she has had enough humiliation - if this is supposed to have a happy ending.

Nooo.. That was necessary for James to do that. A little bit of force is actually needed to make this story more enjoyable to read. As long as that James love her and become totally monogamous after that, it is exactly what this story needs. Just please make it happy ending, that James just hasn't realized how much he felt head over heels toward Sophia.
