I like this take on the being of a dragon, quite like some describe werebeings, with 2 different sides.

I find it completely unnecessary to emphasise the point of view, when it is still told in 3rd person. Omnipotent teller can concentrate on any point of view and any depth of knowledge at will, anyway. Only in 1st person writing is it necessary to state who is the teller.
