Great chapter! The memory-lapse and confusion aspect from the perspective of Herne is very well written and it gives a sense of how far the fey are dragging him underwater. The way in which you are steadily building the layers of brainwashing in which neither Herne nor the reader knows what is real or unreal, makes me feel as if my thoughts are foggy as well, and it is both delightful and uncanny (delightfully uncanny I suppose haha). Keep up the good work, this was one of my favorite entries!
